That was definitely based on Sachins early 2007 form. But now he is singing praises. Critcs only comment on whatever is avaialable in their plate. Not on what has been or would have...
He is not sparing even Ponting. That does not mean that if Ponting goes on to score a double hundred Chappell will not praise him. Its only that current Ponting form is his worst slump and he is at such a point of his carreer that he can be asked to retire - not play Shield matches and stake claim.

Well i personally feel that Virat Kohli deserves a place in dre..he may not be as experienced as these players..but he certainly won some matches for india this year with centuries.Besides he beat Tendu to bcum the fastest player to reach a 1000 odi runs
