Re: Appeal?

Yes Sir, You have to Appeal for a Wicket unless it's a Clear Wicket, like Clean Bowled and Caught off a Clear edge, Umpire can't give it out even though he knew that the Batsman Nicked if the Fielding Team Not Appealing.

indian team is sure mentally retarded, with munaf ji dont understand short run, piyush chawla giving hitting flight for 6 runs to make, sufficient time to hit, mentally retarded indian team with captain require all rules study with good trainer and telling laws, fielding practice, also hamstring injured players be not allowed to play in 11,keep him as drink taker,12 th man,who cant ball at 49 th over, also their heads with ears, eyes checked for dspectacles, also BCCI officials be checked heads for not supporting india and not preparing turning pitches, always afraid what gora sahib will think for such turning pitches, really idiots.sure india will WC after 1000 years, pak is favourite this time, indian team better make practice of ads, upar cut, doosra, helicopter shots, sachin shud think about next records than playing for team according to situation, instead of accelerating, step up run rate, sachin and indians are complacent

You are clearly trying to tell us seventy three different things, but unfortunately you have only provided us with every alternate word of those messages in an apparently long complex and indecipherable sentence... :)

:) If it was fixed, all the involved participants played their roles to perfection... Knowing EXACTLY how to bowl, how to exactly edge, exactly hit a six in the last over etc. etc...
We must all enjoy such perfectionist displays and hope that our governments can administer with such precision... :)
before this match started shane warne had predicted that the match would end in a tie, as both times are wary in facing srilanka in the quaterfinals, thus would like to split points, by tying the match.finally that was what happened, & now this story of the indians not appealing against strauss, taken with a story appearing in the english paper"guardian" that sachin too was let off by the english when he was in his 20's, makes one think that warne had got an inkling that the match could be fixed.

Biswanath Roy:
Read Rediff: But the man who had predicted the result right from the start could not stop himself from having the last word.
"Before u (you) think there was something untoward re prediction of a tie, thought it was going to be a cracker -- tie (prediction) was tongue in cheek -- but right," Warne tweeted after the match, no doubt grinning from ear to ear.
As for fixing theories: If it was fixed, all the involved participants played their roles to perfection... Knowing EXACTLY how to bowl, how to exactly edge, exactly hit a six in the last over etc. etc...
We must all enjoy such perfectionist displays and hope that our governments can administer with such precision... :)

Well said... that will also hopefully remove a lot of excessive appealing and casting aspersions on Umpires in order to find some excuses for our below par performances... :)

The casting aspersions myth is really funny. See more than there is shall we. :))
Dhoni did not even appeal after taking the genuine snicks from Strauss on two occasions. This shows that he definitely had no intention of winning the match or would probably have fixed against India. Or if he has any hearing problems he should be replaced. That he allowed ones and twos easily shows he wanted India to lose.
he didnt appeal... he set horrible field and last over he didnt collect ball properly giving extra run and making sure england had every possiblity to win the game..
he is the culprit and icc should look for max fixing possiblity
Indian selectors made a big mistake by selecting Ashwin. Ashwin is not going to play any role. he can't be selected as a spinner or an all rounder. Now Dhoni is feeling the heat because of this unncessary selection. Instead of ashwin, selectors should have opted for Ohja. Since the mistake is already done, Dhoni has to bear that mistake. Unncessarily Ashwin got selected because he is from Tamil Nadu. He is keep on getting selected and didn;t play a single match. No one knows what is his role. He was on bench for last 20 to 30 matches. Srikanth is selecting him as if he is Muttaih Muralidharan

Did Ashwin fail in any match? He has played well in whatever opportunities he was given, even bowling in power plays. May be he is not ready to fix the match with Dhoni.

chawal is a gaaaannnnnnnnnddddduuuuu and so is dhoni.... and u r biggern than these two

No. My arguement is about selecting quality players. Now dhoni doesn;t have much of bowling options because of selection of Ashwin.

jayega thik hai... tum nikalega kya?
argument is quite valid. Ashwin is not bad, but has little chance of being in final 11. Ojha would certainly have been better bet than both Chawla and Ashwin.
oh well.. i'd say break Nehra's leg with a stump and replace him with Ojha.
