Bowling attack in 2003 led by srinath was better than this.they crushed almost all teams except Aussies in that tournament by big margin

Indian bowiling is not week it is your captain who is don't know simple rules of captaincy otherwise even a club captain would have won the match by applying all his fielder around 30 yard (3 fielders who are out of 30 yard should be kept just outside 30 yard line and not on boundary )from the first over !

The bowling was not failed but the Captain was fool !

I think it was the most easy game as far as captaincy is concern. Dhoni would have tighten up the noose by applying fielders within 30 yard circle through out the game. He should have concentrated on making the Required run rate over 8 instead of stopping fours and sixes. He just put the fielders on boundry as soon as 15 overs finished ! The result was that English batters easly took singles and twos and kept the run rate over 6.5 through the game. It was just because of sheer luck that Struss and Bell took batting powerplay at wrong time and Dhoni had to bring the fielders withing 30 yard otherwise...the match was over for me in favor of England ! It was pathetic captaincy and really shocking from the street smart cricketer like Dhoni. Had it be done there was no need for regretting on UDRS !

his words was sheer complacency and Indian cricket team is in the wrong hands right not...a "contented" captain who just doesn't feel that world cup is a BIG TOURNAMENT and complaining about fatigue before the world cup, concerned about next IPL season...needs to look seriously about his career as a cricketer because it world cup can't motivate you th e what else can?

Below standard bowling with very average fielding is the result of tie. After scoring 338 runs (thanks to Sachin) if we cannot capitalize on it then it is the failure of captaincy.

India tied bcos of two facts .. read my analysisi

Sachin scoring century was a bad omen.. We were destined to lose.Statistics say that sachin century generally means India gonna lose
Yuvi made half century.and statistics say whenever Yuvi hits India wins. We would have had Sachin not scored a century..

Sachin should not play in rest of games..

Surely you have stats to back such claims correct ? I mean surely you are not that stup1d that you didn't verify with cricinfo.

Now that aside , seriously are you living in the 21st century or the 18th century. do you backtrack when you see a black cat cross your path ?

wait wait wait, i get it. Please continue to watch saans bhi bahu thi serials. It seems like you caught few moments of ODI cricket when you were switching channels between ads. Ok please go back to your armchair and yes " there is a think called bad omen in real life, as it is most likely aptly displayed in such serials "

Dhoni should give gratitude to English for Stupidity
by Ian Chappell on Feb 28, 2011 08:11 AM

Mates yesterdays Dhoni's captaincy was very ordinary. The pitch was easy and he should have concentrated on stopping 2's and 1's rather then 4's and 6's. If he tighten up the noose even after 15 overs and didn't allow easy singles and twos then the game would have been in India's favor before 35 overs because by then England would have lost most of their batters !
They tie the match just because of stupidity of English Batsman !
India's world cup chances really looking dull now because no one was betting on England and every one know their batting is not that strong but despite that they barely missed giving Indian's HART BREAK...its not India's victory it just that they saved their face somehow !

You are typical of an Internet H indu that Sagarika refers to. She is bold, unabashed in her views, solid in her analysis & unrelenting in her crusade against Saffron Teror which cussed Indian males dyed in ochre cannot accept of a woman who is contemporary. People like you are bigoted, with swollen egos, narrow gutter like thinking who want to blunt & nullify the idea of a secular India. Given half a chance you & your ilk will make India a subset of Pakistan with suicide bombers having a field day & law & order being dished out by mahants & so called sants (it simply beats my imagination how such people can in any way be called saints; yes these are the true followers of Satan). We are a democracy and do not behave like those damned NRI' in US, UK etc who have struck gold but their ideas on how India should be remain cotton bolled in a quagmire of antiquated philosophies like Vedas etc. Get real and let Sagarika do her job. Thank God & India for people like Sagarika.

She is anabashed only in her views against Hindus. She does not say a word against wrongdoings of other faiths in the country. Why she is not unrelenting on islamic terror in the country ? This classic psuedo secularism. We want only true secularism and not psuedo secularism.
