Like smith did to WI, dhoni should bring on ashwin to remove strauss. Trott/Bopara should be attacked more within the circle. Nehra should be IN, he has always done good against english. Still remember how he blown out english in the world cup single handedly.
shewag should go all guns blazing, he should not play like he did to bangla, english attack is different. You want runs at the top. sachin can steady the inngs & hang around 35overs. Gauti/virat should do a support role to master. Then yuvi/dhoni/pathan can shift gears in the slog. All this possible if they bat first, but need to watch out for SWANN. Playing a quality spinner after a long time will change the plans.
I wonder what is the tamasha all about. The most important match of the WC ? England ? They have just come off after a 6-1 ODI thrashing at the hands of Australia, India have always beaten them at home ( even in England - remember Kumble hammering a hundred against them ?

Any new game has to be started from scratch. So its a open game.This England team is different from the ones's that toured England recently.Let's hope India wins.

Can't even be a gimmick to get the crowds in to see the match. Remember how fans who wanted tickets were thrashed by police ( it happens only in India ) and chased away ?

Actually this English team is very capable indeed. The balance in their side is extremely good - the problem is just like us they are not performing at their best. The only glitch is whether Yardy will be included to strike the right balance or not.

Pakistan will be allowed in Mumbai and all over India.In Mumbai Bal Thackeray is a soent force.He couldnt even prevent Rahul Gandhi's visit what is he going to do here.I really hope the Pakis make the finals just so the old man is shown to be the psuedo-hindu he is.

Dravis is oout of form so he will score 25 runs in 90 balls..does India want that ..this an ODI not a Test..every ball counts
