time for 5 bowlers
by Arun Prabhu on Feb 28, 2011 10:00 AM  | Hide replies

Time for india to have 5 bowlers in the playing XI. We need to make this bold decision. If we have 3 good spinners, we can check the opposition. Otherwise our bowling is very much predictable.. I we can forget WC.

are you saying that we have 10 bowlers ?

heck India would be happy to even have 4 competent bowlers. Seems like we have about 1.5 to 2.0 bowlers

Poor Bowling Attack
by SRINIVAS RAO on Feb 28, 2011 09:56 AM

There is no penetration in the bowling attack of Dhoni team. No bowler appearded that he is bowling to take wicket. All are overconfident that 339 is not acheivable. The seriousness visible only when batting powerplay taken by opponent. With this type of bowling attack, thinking of cup ?

no harsh on our bowlers pls
by veerapuram dharan on Feb 28, 2011 09:50 AM

our bowlers apart from zak and bhajji are inexperienced..munaf is as good as sree and piyush is as good as ashwin..the ned of the hour is intelligent captaincy, which dhoni lacked..he should asked our bowlers to bowl intelligently, like slower balls and short ones..

What Dhoni has to say!
by Narayanan Kutty on Feb 28, 2011 09:50 AM  | Hide replies

When in the last match Bangladesh pounded 281 all blame went to Sreesanth..... Dhoni and Sehwag even said that he was the weakling.....
what does Dhoni and party have to say about yesterday's bowling perfomance..... why not set any blame on anyone? Remember any bowler can have a bad day in the office

Dhoni is a great politician and knows how to retain his position. He along with BCCI will destroy Indian cricket

Sreesanth is a brainless bowler anyway! No doubt about it. Whether Dhoni or anybody else blamed him is a different story, but he doesnt deserve to be in the team, specially for world cup. His bowling is extremely poor and inaccurate. He use his impulse rather than judgement while he bowls.

our bowling was horrible
by Happy Friday on Feb 28, 2011 09:41 AM

I think Munaf should be replaced by sreeshant and ashwin should play for chawla and reduce one batsmen with Nehra.

you know why we cannot win this wc ? we don't have the bowlers for it.

83 world cup had almost 4 to 5 competent bowlers .

There is a big difference between 4 competent bowlers and 2 competent bowlers

Don't you know .. definition of allrounder for a typical forum tard is a batsman who can roll his arm over 6 times an over or a bowler who doesn't get out 1st ball

The definition of allrounder in other countries is however very different

DHONI;INDIA'S PROBLEM:
by Srinivasan Renganathan on Feb 28, 2011 09:24 AM  | Hide replies

Dhoni is a spent force in Indian cricket. But, only due to his luck factor and a better team, he is sticking to the chair. His contribution is almost nil or even negative in the past two years. He is now more egoistic & sees that current from players like Raina or Kolhi gets chopped or thier batting order schuffled in every second match. He also dosent like Yusuf Pathan to get more opportunities ahead of his friend Yuvraj. Unless he gets injured & either parthiv patel of Uthappa replaces him, it is tough times for Indian cricket.
His foolish tactics & blunders in the past two years have cost Indian drawing or loosing many easy matches.
