idiot.....some other great players will replace the current biggies....indian cricket is not just viru's sachin's you have plenty of talent waiting to get a chance....
be a little bit positive else you will be proven idiot again and again....
ICC faces 2 dilemmas: 1) T20 vs 50-50 and, T20 vs Test Cricket 2) Greater immediate globalisation (and that includes sub-standard teams) vs better and closer matches of established teams
I beg to state that, if, teams such as Kenya etc. are provided greater matches in various tournaments and tours, they shall perform better in World Cups. Also, money spinners like the IPL maybe instructed to include more of their players.
With regards to the 1st problem, T20, sadly remains the best way of popularising cricket in unchartered territories.
With Fifa, F1 and others trying to capture our eyeballs for their respective sports, ICC, must find a way to hedge against the consequent risks to it by targeting countries such as China and Brazil ASAP.
at international level that makes even the world cup boring.. only few countries show any interest in cricket.. the popularity of cricket is declining in England and Australia.. strong sporting nations prefer power sports like football, tennis over cricket.. cricket is still alive only because of mass Indian population.. otherwise its a game of weak countries like pakistan, bangladesh, sri-lanka etc..

Agreed on some of your points. In my opinion this is the most boring world cup ever. Probably even worse than 1975 when it first began. The organizers seem to have made it a point to avoid competition as much as possible at the group stages. The quarter finalists from each group are almost 100 p.c. known. The question is why? Why did ICCI have to ensure a relative easy passage of the stronger teams to QFs. Were they worried about the backlash the tournament had to face in case India was bundled out early? After all the hoopla hoo this is what we get? Shame on the ICC.
again they show the age old story of 1983 winning..ok ..we won..good..so what next...comparision of the existing team with the winners of 1983 world cup really causes stress and agony...oh pls....maninder was giving his remarks on bowling..doesnt one remember that it was becoz of his useless and mediocre bowlign that india were "swept" out of world cup
