I always felt Anil Kumble still had a lot to offer to the Indian one day team. He shouldn't have retired. He could have been the captain for India's test and one day teams with Dhoni becoming the skipper of the T20 side. Kumble has an exceptional head on shoulders with the right attitude. Dhoni is good but he has some issues. He keeps talking about fatigue and scheduling as if no other cricketer or team is busy. What an idiot ? he should work for the fools at the ICC rather than play cricket for India. We miss you Anil !!
Mr EXCUSE MSD is having doubt on his own performance in both the side. Once he starts on excuse of fatigue etc is sureky he is not confident. If India looses, he has to go from cricket as his own performanc is at stake. This time SRIKANTH AND DHONI BOTH will have to leave together.

Honestly dont see what kumble said wrong ?. This is dhonis first wc where his team is considered favorites. It is a different kind of pressure to deal with. Lets see what he can do and not blame kumble.Kumble has earned the right to express his opinon.

Ganguly and Dhoni cannot be compared now. Let Dhoni retire and then we can do some sort of comparison.

It is strange that Dhoni is loosing all the tosses, but people still call him the lucky captain. The fact is he is not lucky. he has cool mind and a good team

you are wrong, other team members carried him, so he did not fall. Imagine all others playing like the captain, there is no scope of winning
1. Some are good only at playing the game - e.g. Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath, Kumble.
2. Some are ordinary while playing but are reasonably good at voicing their views and explaining the nuances of the game - e.g. Arun Lal, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, Sanjay Manjrekar
3. Some are gifted or accomplished players who can also communicate well - e.g. Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri
4. Some are failures while playing and even more miserable while attempting to be a commentator or expert - e.g. Ganguly, Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad
It will be better if the likes of Kumble keep mum and concentrate on admin work at KSCA.
Dravid is not the same wall for last 2 years..But because he is so good, he is still there in test cricket..I would rather prefer Laxman..Indians should have planned match and country wise strategy..Like Laxman for SA, Australia match..Shewag against Pakis NZ and Aussies..Sachin against Sri-Lanka, Aussies and may be SA now..Yuvi against England and Bangladesh..Rains against Sri-Lanka and Bangladesh..Gambhir against England...like wise for the bowlers too..most of them I have seen are some country specific..use that stat..

Agreed to some extent. But if chances are not given to others we may never know who they play better. Yuvi is a past tense, i even dont remember when he really played well and won a game. i would prefer raina in place of yuvi for the world cup. players like him shown improvement with experience they get. we can count him for ipl and for matches playing in india.
Dhoni has shown everyone how to win IPL3 with poor team. Dhoni has shown everyone how to win T20 word cop with young unexperienced team. Dhoni has shown everyone how to win series in Australia with experience team.
