A good manager is one who contriutes without making his contribution visible and achieves results. His contribution becomes visible only after he departs. For record, you will recall the two Tests he captained against Australia (in India) India won. With the same team, Kumble had brought India to the brink of defeat. Team India in WC 2007 was much the same as it is today but this time we are much more certain about India doing well. That is what shows the quality of a good captain.

Mahi is already tried, tested & trusted
by letsgo on Feb 14, 2011 07:41 PM

Mr Kumble, Mahi's Captainship has already been tested in home & away series against South Africa, Australia , Sri Lanka & New Zealand. He is the only Indian captain who won T20 World Cup for the country. He is the only captain who won WSC in Australia by beating them in both the finals. He is the first Indian Captain who won both IPL & Champions League for CSK. Even if he can't win the Trophy this time around, Mahi's performance as a Captain will always be clubbed with the likes of Sourav Ganguly, Kapildev, Ajit Wadekar, Sunny Gavaskar & MAK Pataudi. Mr Kumble,u don't need to poke ur nose into it ; because in any case u, as a captain, will remain in the "also ran" category.

For Dhoni

Its just luck by chance that the team is performing well. He is even afraid of having a second wicketkeeper. He should focus on his batting.

All men need the help of luck to win in life. If u r absolutely unlucky , u will never be a successful man. Also Mahi's toss-luck is very bad. Had he won the toss at Centurian a couple of months back, India's story in South Africa would have been totally different.

Overjoyed with a win over Aussies (in the warm up match)Indians should not take Bangladesh Lightly. Reme3mber they bite the dust in the last world cup of 2007.

Remember India world Cup finalists in 2003 were eliminated very early.

Also we are playing our game at Bangladesh which suits them the most.

Dhonis tendency to opt for fielding whenever wins the toss may basck fire and in the process of chasing the high score with rising deliveries from fast bowlers may back fire and fear of early exit.
