Team composition
by raasi murali on Feb 11, 2011 04:37 PM  | Hide replies

our batting order shall be
Gambir
Sehwag
virat kohili
Tendulkar
Suresh Raina / Yuvaraj
MS Dhoni
Yusuf Pathan
Harbajan singh
zakeer khan
Sreeshanth
4th bowler

I still feel any one of the old horses like Dravid or Laxman should have been in the team to save it from the worst conditions like 5/20

Present Indian Teamis Hyped Disproportionately is Media Creation
by Bhajiya on Feb 11, 2011 04:33 PM

If you see batting side except Sehwag and Tendulkar rest of players are just fill in the blank space for ramining 11 members. No other players than these players is sure shot of what is doing in Indian team and why he is in the indian team. They are inside because their sponsors invested millions of US$ on them and BCCI so BCCI has to carry these parasites as lauggage and burdon. Because media is part of sopnsorship who keep public interest alive and earn money thrroough sponsors whos players are sponsored for advertisement.

Among Bowlers Zahir and Srisant is good rest is fill in the blank space of rest 11 members.

This World Cup is media and money affairs look at 2007 world cup India was nowhere defeated by even Bangladesh to elimite india from world cup remember.

Now suddenly every Indian player appears like great and greates players of the world which he was never before just because of sponsors and media playing game of money exchange on Indian citizens expenses.

Croocks are every where in India kalmadi and Raja are on every street corner of India so the BCCI is having 100's of kalmadi and Raja's besides Sharad Pawar as Mafia Don who promote many Kalmadi's and Raja's.

Kapil had connections to bookies
by sudhir dhar on Feb 11, 2011 04:17 PM  | Hide replies

I am absolutely sure that bookies paid England and WI's to lose in the semis and finals.

Kapil's connection with Azar is confirmed

it is unfortunate and worst thinking to doubt kapil's contribution to the country.

Kapil throughout his life has played as a real team man and won single handedly several times for india.

The current team should take lesson from 83 team
by VENKATESAN GURUSWAMY on Feb 11, 2011 04:06 PM

If they want to win the WC 2011,the present team should learn a lesson or two from the 83 batch. They had spirit,Never say die attitude,Confidence on themselves, above all a great captain Kapil the great...But I am little worried we dont have the above qualities. But if they think they can, then can win.Atleast 50 percent of the qualities of 1983 team they imbibe n them, then they can think of winning the Cup

I think Indian player in over confidence as they are in 2007. This over confidence can out them first round matches because Indian bowling and fielding standard is like “c” grade team. On basis of batting u cannot won all matches.
So do not excite much our team will not reach semi-final

World CUp 83 was fixed
by Sammer Agarwal on Feb 11, 2011 04:02 PM

Clive Llyod and Party were paid handsomely to loose wicket after wicket to underdogs India by the Mafia. I have never seen WI play so poorly before or after WC83. There is no other explanation. WI just crumpled like a house of cards

Winning the world CUP
by sanjay suri on Feb 11, 2011 03:49 PM  | Hide replies

This is not a CUP of tea.

We may have some of the best players in cricket world BUT do we have a team to win the CUP.
I don't think so. Media need some topic to make headlines and fill up their space but I don't see India making even to Semis. If they do I'll be happy.
Going to temples and gathering wishes from all over may make you a little more confident but for getting the CUP you must Deserve it.
I hope & wish I'm wrong.
Sanjay
