I have seen some posts stating earning more means becoming great.(they connect richness with greatness)....Sachin is selfish. So I decided to put my thoughts here on these two points:
Money to humans is like a gasoline is to a car. It is necessary but it can not make car perform better than what it is capable of...that is it does make the car better than other cars.
Selfishness: There is a fine line between selfishness and single-minded dedication. But it is too much for some of the posters here to understand this.
Nobody can achieve what great people like Sachin have or do achieve in their respective fields purely by being selfish: they do through single-minded dedication.
Since being selfish is easy, everyone could have become great or got unparalleled achievements just by being selfish.

i hope you 'earn' your living without money. These cricketers are paid handsome sums due to their potency in the sport. I am If you worked sincerely in your job and are ably compensated, I am sure you wouldn't deny the monetary raise. So please don't call someone selfish. All are human beings and needs vary. Our country has a history of making Gods out of mortals. Cricketers are no exception. Gotta live with it buddy.
in 1-dayers... he played until 45 over against nz and scored 139... so only bird-brained will think that he can play until 50 overs and score 400 runs... let sehwag play balls on a regular basis and that should prove good for india... but he is happy scoring 20 runs of 15 balls and will continue to do so under excuse of playing natural game... he should come at #6/7... ideal position for a hit/miss batsman like him in 1-dayers...

let sehwag play 50 balls on a regular basis and that will prove good for india...
against nz until 43 over... scored 112 against nz until 45 over... scored 130... last 2 years 12 scores of above 40 in 28 matches... other 16 matches usual score 20 runs of 13 balls... and matches are now won by scoring 20 runs by opener...
IF Viru really plays 50 overs, it will be a match of Records....highest odi total by a team, first triple century in odis, highest economy rate by a bowler, win by a greatest margin, highest number of 4's and 6's in a match by a player and a team.....

if viru played like this... if viru played for hour... if viru played for 15 overs... but that if seldom happens... viru did not play 50 0vers yet and he never will... he is lucky if he can play 50 balls in 1-dayers...

If Afridi, Peterson, Smith, Taylor bats for 50 overs .. then they too took score 700 Runs..

20 overs are enough to get 200 runs for him.. which no other player in the world can get.
good desition, india consists of so many batmans, so the openning batmans are take a good effect to take a score above than 400 so we try get a good score. so viru you try to get a 200 runs.. so pleace make a sixer rain and defeat the so many achivements.........
