All the explayers keep harping on the fact that India is going to win the world cup. All India has to do is to perform creditably as winning or losing the world cup is not the end of the world. The Media seems to concentrate only on this event-not TV alone even the Press.
No other country seems to be so obsessed with winning tournaments. Even our players are bent upon making tall claims be it Cricket, Tennis or Badminton or any other game.
Let the Media realise that there are far more important things to worry about or fight for other than sports.
Sports should be traeted as sports and nothing else.
Srikant is earning crores of rupees by keeeping Srinivasan and Dhoni satisfied by putting players of their choice. Moreover he is showing his loyalties by making such statements. He is anticipating further bonus.
Looking at present scenario of performance the hopes though from spirited Indians are high and if the present Indian team snatch the WC then it can be no great3er than EIGTH WONDER. Let us cheer our team to perform this WONDER
This time Indian team is ever best team even better then those during 1983 and i think there is no doubt about it..this time Indian batting line up is said to be the strongest amongst all other team...and last time champion Australia seems to became weaken...no doubt yet there will be tough competition with england and SA..but from deep of my heart n my intution says me that this time India will Definitely Concore d world cup....All d best

I agree somewhat but major worry about our fast bowling attack only Zaheer considered ok.. but we need three fast bowlers.. so ramaining two who is going to fill ???? and Yuvraj out of form is major worry because he can rotate singles at circumstances.

What an irresponsible statement from Srikanth. How can he be sure this team will win the world cup. I think BCCI has settled a deal to fix all the matches and make sure india get weak opponents through out the series
