History goes repeated
by DHARMENDRA GANATRA on Feb 02, 2011 07:05 PM  | Hide replies

Every one was telling the same in 2007 that India is favourite team for WC but India was thrown out by Bangladesh in first round it self. Thanks that we do not have to face super 6 or super 8 format in this WC, hence we do have the chance to reach quarter final and at the most semi final but Indian Team has no guts like Kapil's team to bear the pressure of game. India is sure to loose in Quarter or Semi and history will go to repeat. India lost in Semi. against England in 1987 and against Lanka in 1996 both times on Indian Soil.

Will India be 'third time lucky' to get through (semi-finals) this time, my dear Dharmendra?

Yes Dear road upto Quarter Final is not difficult because out of 7 teams of Group B, Bangladeshm Netherland and Ireland are weak. In fact we have to win only one match that is QF to reach semi. Hence I do hope for. However we cannot say anything about Inida may loose in QF also.

Our potential
by Pankaj Mehta on Feb 02, 2011 07:03 PM

Indian players have the potential to win this WC.
Our weakness remains only in bowling sector. But batting line is strong enough to kick off every inning with good partnerships.
Hope India win this WC, may be for Sachin or for whole India.

BCCI is a private profit making company run by Consumer companies to promote their product. So, it is expected that for these money making machines will keep individuals above the country.

stop this hype

Sachin is not a great as it is projected by indian media. He is a creation of media by the companies paid to promote for their self interest and creating a brand. He earns by the media hype and public pay and buy the product he endorse, and the company make profits.

There were many great Indian cricketers much greater than sachin. During their time there were lesser cricket played unlike today so they could not make history like sachin

Sachin always failed when India needed him. Still then he got a publicity

Stop the hype

go and watch the Barbados test of 1999, Vs. Australia...
you will get all the answers you want..
Sachin in the next 100 lives cannot produce an innings of that quality..
And dont forget, Lara never got to play in the flat batting paradises of India through out his career like Sachin...
