May be, but he can't turn a ball for sure! He bowls a flat defensive line and hardly gets any turn. I don;t think he will ever beat the defense of a RH batsman in his career. Suited only for shorter version of game where he is smart enough to not give any width.

yes,,,,,,,,,,,ATLEAST 2-3 ALLROUNDER INDIA REQUIR LIKE AUSTRALIAN TEAM...SO BEST OPTION IS PATHAN.
In India & Sub-Continental conditions where there is no speed & pace in the pitches, all-rounders are essential.
To pick the India Team XI who has options in the bowling department in form of Yusuf & Yuvraj, Irfan would have been good option in liue of Nehra. It will add strength to the batting along with Praveen in the end. Batting has always been the strength of India, not the bowling.
