whether irfan plays or nehra plays , strong team like aussies,south africa will bang our fast bowlers, so instead nehar they could have selected irfan atleast who can bat well also, beoz irfan pathan economical rate is 5.50 slighly below than nehra

Sreesanth deserves it absolutely. The case is simple, he is unruly and uncivilized apart from having the highest economy rate in the pack. Also dont tell me he is a genuine wicket taker- heard that so many times and still laugh at it.

Do you watch cricket at all ? Did you watch the South Africa series, even the crowd was booing for him all the time. Bhajji has learnt from experience and has shown enough maturity to represent the captain in even the post match conferences. All sreesanth can do is to give away boundary balls every 2 balls and talk trash - apart from a few good deliveries once a while.

Bhajji is Dhoni's parter in business . So he will always play if slap again to any player. It was Dhoni who made Sree a bad boy . have you seen hanise doing same with Allan donald? Have you seen how Sree got out dangerous kallis. Any Bowler did that in past? if Dhoni is not captain he will be not be in Team . Parthiv is better choice on bouncy track as he opened too i . Even Dhoni can not bat at number 4. Sree is only one bowler who can bowl york length delivery at death overs. Please refer last NZ series . He was man of the match on same Indian track.Dirty Dhoni will destroy the team soon with his dirty politics. After yousuf;s knock he is still not sure whether he will get chance ahead of raina and Yuvraj. Because both are his dear freind and can do anything . Like raina did with sree in test match which was told by Dhoni.

Do you even care to check facts before writing about statistics? What's the economy rate of Sreesanth? What's his average? And don't even get me started on yorkers .. Name a batsman who has got out to his yorkers. Reply back with all the answers and we'll have an educated conversation then

Also what's with you people - can't you ever back up an analysis by facts? How do you survive professionally with the same modus?

The fact is Mr.Acharya you have some personal vendatta with sreesanth. That's it. and Harbhajan learned from his mistakes, duh! he is the biggest a-0 in the Indian team followed by Dhobi of course.
Now the board will realize why it was important to have at least 5 fast bowlers in the squad for a month and a half long tournament...but no, the dimwits have taken 3 spinners instead....Sreesanth was a no-brainer in place of Chawla...even the brainless dumbos in the selection squad should have got that.

Fool. a team can only play a maximum of 11 matches including the final and we have a lot breaks in between the group stages. Selecting chawla was the best thing done by selectors, as he adds variety to the spin. Still wonder why they took ashwin, not because he was from TN, but harbhajan is doing a good job and even though ashwin is a good prospect for india's future, I don't see him getting a chance in the WC. They should have picked pujara in place of ashwin as we need more batsmen than bowlers, as our opening slots are full of injuries.
Praveen is such a good wicket taking bowler.....whatever the given condition is, he will take quick wickets in his initial spell which will be big advantage for our team.....

I would have normally not responded..but the this person called Narayan needs to understand that everyone in the forum has the right to express his opinion and I do not see any problem with m shanti's comments..one should refrain from using derogatory language for parents atleast...this fellow called Narayan seems to be a habitual abuser..one of those trying to cultivate slum-culture in this forum..absolutely ridiculous and unwanted expressions
