Hi Shazwaz, MCG was a batting tract, its just that both teams did not but very well, India especially. See all the reports about India,s batiing collapse. Only tendulkar, Ashwin and sometimes dravid played a bit.

THE BIG THREE EITHER RISES TO THE OCCASION OR QUITS
by damodaran mohan on Dec 31, 2011 12:53 PM  | Hide replies

AGNIPATH series...is it ? THUNDER down under...? Where did you lose the Thunder, captain cool ? Now people are wondering whether the series needs to be rechristened ...er.. a WHITEWASH series ? Whatever happened to the man poised to hit his 100th century ? Did the Indian side show even 50% of the intensity and application shown by the Aussies ? While the Aussies look so much charged up why is it that Indians look so insipid ? While Ponting and Hussey delivered the India big Trio flunked and that made all the difference in the end. It is said that morning shows the day. What signals Zaheer was sending out during the first over on the fourth day ? After all that overnight expectations and excitement wasn't his first over a real KLPD ? And he is the lead bowler ! With such attitude is Zaheer or the team going to have any chance of making a comeback ? No wonder Gavaskar has already written off the team with the batting ‘flop show’ of the super stars. Only silver lining was the creditable show of the young bowling side. The most experienced batting side on earth seems to be lacking ‘application’ and the stomach to put up a fight. ? And is Dhoni setting field for Ashwin or Bhajji ? Why continue that defensive mindset ? Unless the veterans like Sachin,Dravid, Laxman, Sehwag,Gambhi ,Dhoni and Zaheer show some ‘attitude’ and ‘resolve’ there is a distinct possibility of the likes of Sachin,Dravid and Laxman becoming a laugh

dhoni is not able to decide whether to take rest and enjoy married life with newly wedded wife actually his wife is write he must spare time for her also like Ricky Pointing stopped playing all other version of games just concentrating on test so that Ricky can give time for family matters also but dhoni is not understanding demand of game he is rather most confused man after his marriage i suspect as there are lot of expectations from a married man and very few men complete all 100 demands of spouce

well said. As far as the Agneepath series is concerned, it might be apt to name this as the "Apni toh phat gayi" series.

You are an anti indian a.hole which is very clear from all your postings you fanatatic Son O..a B (you understand). Let me tell you one thing loud and clear. Our batsman are going to kick the aussies in the Sydney test. It is good that everything bad is written about them and this will surely stir them up. Dont forget history when Indian batsman has thrashed the Aussie bowlers like Brett Lee, Warne when they were in their prime form. Dony you ever feel ashamed seeing your face in a mirror Sohail ? You an educated but mannerless ro.g..ue with enemity in your heart for Indians. You are a disgrace even to your parents and mankind. Go and hang yourself.

India will come back at sydney
by Pankaj Khatri on Dec 31, 2011 06:27 AM  | Hide replies

I am sure before india won the world cup in 2011 all of you had the same negative comments to share. India played good cricket for 3 days at McG. We bowled really well but a few batsmen didnt click. This is the time we should support the team rather than venting our frustration.
Wcpak - a loser whose country is playing bangladesh and feels like a champion. look at your record in australia you get smashes 3-0 everty time you come here

Yes India will come back at Sydney. Offourse they will come back from 2 days (well 3 days rest) and play. They have to play in 4 Tests right. So they will come back and play.

They will also come back in Perth and Adelaide :-) and play.

Finally they will do Australian shopping and buy stuffed toys, kangaroo dolls and remote controlled koala bears for their kids and COME BACK to INDIA :-)
