Highest Score
by junooni qatil on Dec 29, 2011 03:25 PM  | Hide replies

It is strange to find that some people are seeing a highest in Sachin,s score. Is that what a great (which is more of a fuss) and experienced player supposed to do. Its like coming 1st or 2nd in a group of only 2 persons.
He has never been able to see the team through when the team looked up to him. With such a small score to chase and with the baggage of experience and the fuss of greatness around him , he was supposed to do just that, whereas as usual, he melted. He failed. A failure in leadership and guts, all through his carrer. A meek and a selfish character. Only that he is giving ample opportunities to even all his blind fans to really question his capabilities.

same old story
by sai krishna on Dec 29, 2011 03:11 PM

the same old story. We again loss a test abroad. Our problems with fast bowling persists. All our batsman are vulnerable to pace bowling and the much tainted expericed three also with 20 years of experience also poking the ball outside off stump. Any bowler whether they are new to cricket or old bowl straight and move the ball will take wickets against us.

Sachin The Great
by junooni qatil on Dec 29, 2011 03:11 PM  | Hide replies

Once again this batting great let his team down when it needed him the most. What a fine use of his accumulated experience. No one can remember whether in recent or in distant past when this great delivered when the team needed him to deliver. I feel this is high time to throw such useless, spineless self seeking greats out of the team. I think rookie R. Ashwin with no experience will score more than this great.

You ARE funny. You say you never remember him delivering. Then you say team needed him most.

real difference..
by Madan Mohan on Dec 29, 2011 02:53 PM

real difference in this test match was tailenders or last 4 batsmen..
for Aus the tailenders would have added 150 runs roughly.. for some reason, indians are failing to remove tailenders quickly..

Positives

Looking at the game, I feel our bowlers created a lot of chances for us in the match... Then until Sachin got out on the second day we were in complete control... After the collapse on the 3rd day our bowler did well to wreck Australian top order... Atlease they gave a fight in this match unlike in England where we were completely down and out... India with this bowling attack can really come back strongly!

need to use word "crush". This is not a completely onesided affair.

Yeah. A 122 run defeat where average score was less than 300, is a minuscule one. A 687 runs defeat would have meant crushing. Right?

It is not a innings defeat. So word crush is not appropriate

Apart from sachin with one century against sachin and rahul everybody else is out of form? Or probably they are not capable of making runs. You take out Dravid and Sachin we would have lost Delhi atleast one test in WI and one in India against WI. laxman only contribution is 176 not out against WI in India and couple of 80 against WI in WI. Otherwise complete failure. Dhoni worst than bhajji in batting. what to talk of murali vijay, yuvi, raina etc young gun.

Preople talking of sachin/dravid retiring should understand only they performed consistently in 2011 in india and abroad. rest 9 players and touring for free. and you can't win matches with two batsman.

Just to keep people like you happy, he is not scoring century.
Otherwise you would claim that he plays for records only.

becsuse of him and dravid we are able to score 200 else most of the time this team will be all out below 200.we lost match when srt got out in both the innings. rest of the chicken batsman just fold up. especially our highly talked off captain who gifted the match by improper field placement and defensive approach even after putting aus down at 27-4
