scoring 32 (with so many edged fours) in 2nd innings is not an achievement. It may be the highest for India's inngs but it was not good enough. All batsmen are to be blamed for the poor show.

yes pseudo thats what happens always other batsmen always fail miserably..sachin always is the best....

Mr Sunil Vaidya. Even if he scores a century and india loses you blame him saying whenever he scores we lose. i remember when he scored his 50th test century and we lost against SA he was the only one who was blamed saying his 50th century was for a loosing cause, guy plays for his records blah blah. somehow i feel good as he dint score century in this match otherwise you would have blamed only him for this loss.

ashish sahu please read my posts again. i have never said whenever he scores we lose...

i have always said how schin is bundle of nerves and whenever he is faced with pressure situation he crumbles. But i have NEVER said when he scores he loses or that for us to win he should get out early...dont blame me for other people's opinions. ihave never said such a thing...

:-)... So you are okay if he scores century and India loses? Amazing!!!

not always...but this was best oppurtunity in our second innings..and team having sehwag gambhir sachin dravid laxman should have got the runs easily...that it. Why bank on these guys?..on his day even parthiv can score 60 odd..we dont need tendulkar for that...his presence is required in vital times and he consistently fails.
1) Dhoni is yet to record a century outside the sub-continent 2) Gambhir is yet to record a century outside sub-continent and NZ. 3) Sehwag is yet to score a single 100 score in 2011 and avg jus 29.5 4) Sachin is having a quiet 2011 with an avg of 47,25 with jus one century against SA in Jan'11. 5) Dravid had a great 2011.
Re: Who is going to score those big runs in Aus ?
by Ravi Iyer on Dec 29, 2011 02:29 PM
None of them can score if they do not apply to the fast bowlers' line and length. Dhoni mentioned that it was full credit to Aussie bowlers. Aussie bowlers will continue to bowl this way in the remaining 3 matches. It's up to our batsmen to show their mettle. I am a Big Fan of the Big 3. But if the Big 3 do not live up to their high standards, then they should retire for India's sake and let someone else fill the places. Every team goes through such phases. Australia has been struggling for some time. But now they have a new crop of bowlers.

time is running out for the big 3. Aussies might come with another green top at Sydney. Wish our batting can neutralize pattinson and siddle.

Once he scores that 100, media and fans will stop the hype and all can focus on our team's cricketing issues.
aussies...how dare they insult our captain cool ..master blaster both young and older...our highest paid IPL superstar..our wall..our very very special...aussies show respect to visitors..at least draw the next game..else it will be 6 defeats in a row.
How can dhoni defend his batsmen after this big blunder ? If you see the target of 292 its always gettable with the batting line up you have!!!!!! No doubt the bowlers in both innings failed to wipe out the tail enders but a target of 292 is not that hard to get specially with the “strongest batting line up in the world” ?
Re: how can u ???
by zubair shighrekar on Dec 29, 2011 02:13 PM
and one more thing aus bowling attack which misses pat cummins, mitchel johnson and shane watson, and still they bowled out us for 160 odd ????

Maybe you should say "how I speak my english". Indians have great english & I am proud of it.

dont be so sure, we came back from losses before winning the next test...in SA we lost the first and won the second...it can happen again...it happened on the last tour of aus too...we lost the monkey gate test but won the next at supposedly aussies bastion, perth
please request aussies to allow sachin score his 100 ton. Let the man retire for gods sake..dravid and laxman are already on extension. It will be very interesting to see indians playing more cricket then...they will bat for two innings for 3 and half days and give chance to opposition to bat only for 1 day.
Re: someone
by raj iyer on Dec 29, 2011 02:05 PM
this is new aggressive cricket..i will only bat NOT you...win or lose is part of game..you can beat us by innings but we wont give you batting practice twice.
Re: Re: someone
by raj iyer on Dec 29, 2011 02:16 PM
scoring batsman...if someone scores 60--70..he becomes scoring batsman? is there any consistency? next innings 30..other 11..another duck. wake up...let dhoni build up a taem first ..we shall see.
Re: Re: Re: Re: someone
by raj iyer on Dec 29, 2011 02:20 PM
is other guys incompetence justification for your non performance?..apart from hussey and ponting who has real experience in aussie camp?..in our camp...tendulkar is playing since 1989..dravid ..laxman more than a decade...and score 70 and it should be lauded?

Boss, Sachin was the highest run getter in both the innings...... Dhoni has flopped in both innings but no one is there to blame him...
Re: Re: someone
by raj iyer on Dec 29, 2011 02:22 PM
dhoni must be sacked...those who say who shall be captain? ..i would like to say make ishant sharma captain..worst scenario he too will lose the match.
