Go easy on Sachin!
by shiva on Dec 28, 2011 08:03 PM  | Hide replies

The pressure is getting too much. We ordinary mortals know when at exams we just want to do well and be done with it. Likewise, Sachin gives a feeling he wants the landmark behind him soon, too soon! He is in a hurry, more than normal! He should also enjoy the ride. For that, let us play our part. Leave him alone for the time being. Aussies also piling on the pressure and making it reach boiling point! We all suffer in the end. Don't forget many among us are too on the fence; hero when he succeeds and zero when he does not - that is a typical Indian mentality - sadly!!! Just imagine having to finish typing before the page refreshes, and see now when I can type with all the time in the world!!!

Useless comparison - one can always type everything in a notepad. Then copy paste it into the forum before the page refreshes. Sachin cannot score a 100 in the practice game or county game and claim that to be his ton of tons. He has to DO it RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!!

My point Sweta is Sachin seems to be in a hurry to get to the landmark! And Aussies too are adding to his misery. My point is crystal clear, he need to relax a bit and then he and we can make hay!

Needed a new talent in place of Sachin
by bharat sant on Dec 28, 2011 07:51 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin made an excellent 73, so what? The media and Sacin's fans are "mourning" because he did not get that elusive century. How sad! It would have been much much better if we had a new, talented, young cricketer in place of Sachin. Our whole mind set has to change. Believe me Sachin has played his full life-time cricket and earned health, wealth, and happiness. He does not need a 'crown' of Bharat Ratna. Media is already calling him Bharat's Ratna. Let India flourish.

indians will always be poor travellers even against a C grafe australian team. the series is a foregone conclusion. you will wake up tomorrow morning to find india reeling at some 100 for 7 or something with 200 more required.

Hard for any Indian commentator to say such things about an Indian player.

as one great batsman has said "use of footwork is over exaturated" This he said looking at virendra sehwag score runs.

Dhoni has won us the world cup with his batting

So forget richie benaud the bowler, and listen to a well known batsman.
