Iwas skeptical about Zaheer and Ishant , bothon fitness , Ishant even on his performance - atleast Zaheer proved I was wrong ,I apologise .Hopefully Ishant will give an opportunity for me say sorry .Butting has been very good , yes Ausralia put sown catches and unfortunate no ball - sachin was out for brilliant ball -so no regrets.

Good Sir, it takes guts to accept that you were skeptical and apologize!! I wish that more people like you could be witnessed.
the wall will play like a mouse hit by a passing vehicle but a lion will play like a lion..dravid is dravid, no doubt..but even after reaching his 50, why does he struggle to rotate the strike? a batsman will be cautious at the start but not after settling down..that way, viru, sachin a,d laksh are far better..he also looks to be injured in his legs..its better he rotates the strike and gives lakshman the maximum strike...

what rubbish - by that token, Australia would have lost in Sydney test last time around, there were 7 decisions that went against India...having DRS or not, is the same for both teams by the way...no one talks about Haddin escaping a plumb LBW yday...so, think before you write...

What is your problem? Australia and England are pretty fair indeed in their game of sledging and winning their game. Now you started preaching BCCI power in international cricket. If you want to support Australia, just because you have adopted that country, do so. But dont need to name Dhoni as unfair in DRS decision.
The positive side of this first Test against Australia is the "Wall" of Rahul Dravid. On the negative side is the unfortunate inclusion of Sachin Tendulkar in the team. The media instead of appreciating his 73, are lamenting that he missed his century (of centuries) by 27 runs. What a narrow-thinking! It appears that Sachin is in the team only, only for his hundreth hundred. What a pity. We are missing a new young talented cricketer in his place. Should India THINK of Sachin or India?

Professor, you probably should stop professing - how about giving way to a younger professor, there are several talented ones, India will not miss your experience...

Getting 73 and adding 100 for 3rd wicket is not a joke, Professor. You started off praising his 73, but ended negatively about not reaching 100. You are not different than media, right?

You are right about the media obsession about Sachin....but why should Sachin step down for this.....he continues to make runs for India. All our youngsters have a long way to go still....Lets enjoy the vintage cricketers for some more time.

@Professor Sant: We are missing new and capable young teachers to guide students in the right direction. Why dont you gracefully resign and take rest? You will surely not be missed.
