I guess the lobby for Irfan would be far stronger, as he has been swinging well of late. Balaji, if sent, like you mentioned would be a very bold decision. Let us see what our slectors do. Time is running out. Going to Australia is a long journey. The replacement needs sufficient time to get over jetlag. It is more painful for tall bowlers.

Balaji and Mukund should have been in. Srikanth is too afraid of the regional comments and have not selected these gems.

Irfan shud go in plcae of Sharma. When Zaheer returns which is a certainty Balaji must get the chance
there is still uncertainity with ishanth and jaheer. our young balance is more than enough for the assassies present batting form.let our young fast band beat their drum in this tour

With sub standard pace attack, India would be forced to look at 2 spinners along with Yadav.
as he looks very tired and now a days doesn't take more wickets. Sometimes he does bat well specially in test mathes but his main job is to bowl and not to bat.
Ishant needed an ankle surgery, after his return from WI. Knowing that surgery would keep him olut of Australian tour, he feigned fitness and has now broken down even before the 1st test.
