Sehwag has scored ODI century while winning on non sub continental pitches only twice that too against New Zealand. No Australia England or South Africa. and intotal 14 centuries. And BIG ZERO test century while winning on non sub continental pitches He is very good batsman but mainly flat pitch bully.

sanjay, Even if the pitch is flat you still have to score runs...by your way of reasoning then SA or ?AUS batsmen should have scored 200 on their own pitches against oppn like WI,ZIM,KEN etc. So at least have the manners to appreciate what sehwag has done.

U r right...We need atleast one player of this attitude in team..Yousuf is also like Viru...and interestingly both can bowl at times...
Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar has congratulated his teammate Virender Sehwag for breaking his record of unbeaten 200 runs against South Africa in 2010.
Tendulkar sent a sms to NDTV as saying, "I am very happy for Viru. It is even more satisfying that an Indian has broken my record."
Sehwag became the only cricketer after Tendulkar to score a double-century in one-day cricket off 140 balls.
The dashing opening batsman made his record double century in 140 balls with the help of 23 fours and six sixes at the jam-packed Holkar Stadium.
India powered their way to a 418-run total, their highest in ODIs as India took a big leap to claiming the series which they led 2-1.
He reached the feat when he square-cut Andre Russell for a boundary in the 44th over of the Indian innings, setting off wild celebrations in the stands and dressing room.
