Rohit looks technically sound and very composed, has very good defense which is a must for test player. I have my doubts on Virat, another Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina type who does well in ODIs and flops in tests.

I agree with you Chandra. Doubts abt Virat as he is not compact. Another Yuvi or Raina model.

Rohit still needs to be tested in other conditions. But honestly he is a good player, but for this T20 version, he spoiled his compactness. I am sure it wont take too long for him to correct it for longer version soon. But for that he stops playing that T20 craps.

Virat and Raina has nothing much to show on ODIs against West Indies either.

The much talked about "big 3s" of Indian Cricket are standing in between these youngsters. It is high time they vacate their place and give Virat and Rohit their places. Otherwise it is purely for money these seniors are playing for!!!

Neither of virat kohli or Rohit sharma have the capacity of Rahul Dravid to play swinging ball. Any body to replace The wall has quite big shoes to fill.

Yea wall is the only worry all of us have.
unfortunately I keep harping the T20 versions spoiled the budding player to have compact technique.

Am sure difficult to replace WALL for the moment. But Tendy can be rested. Sorry Tendy fans, No malice. Just we wish Tendy provide that support to young players and groom them to be test class

Don't think about replacing big 3. Its big 2 only. Sachin will keep on playing. He have a lot of records in mind to achieve.

did not satisfied with umpire lbw decision then forced bcci to adopted udrs like australia, new zealand, england, south africa or sri lanka. If you review that decision then hope kohli become not out.But only see no ball or right ball no other system follow by bcci.If you angry with umpire decision then leave from ground and complaint it but you abused umpire in pitch.Very good cricketer virat kohli. You are truely belong to delhi.

by Suvir Suvir on Dec 06, 2011 04:24 PM

i dont understand how could u give highlighted news of rohit and virat ready for replacing Big3? I still dont see a stable no 6 batsmen in indian test team though we consider big three in squad.. after their exclusion, i dont find any potential for playing tests in current young guys... todays generation gets annoyed if they are not able to score or they are not having and throws thier wicket.. whereas we have seen in past laxman/dravid batting for sessions to make thier way through... Its preety funny to give such article.. hardly india have won 2 ODI and losing the next one and media is again claiming for replacing the 3

Sehwag did not improved when he play against australia, south africa, england like high voltage team.He made only poor bowling attack of zimbabwe, bangladesh, west indies, new zealand. But if he played against high voltage team then he shown his real talent. He played for team india becouse of lobby north indian selector and high businessman, politician like jaitley, chetan chauhan who helped bcci for finance and power

Please do not say like that. I agree sehwag is irresponsible player but we have to understand that india started winning tests in abroad after sehwag became opener. He is the only player who can score 4 runs per over in test cricket.U rememner he scored 175 odd runs in oned day against australia in austraia.
