Shameless Marketeers

Here is a team which suffered lossess & put India's pride in stake! Now these Marketing traitors are responding saying that this national shame is inconsequential & endorsements by the cricketers won't affect brands!Either Indian people are whole sale traitors or the marketeers are! It is up to every self respecting citizen to assess.

Srikanth blaming it on batting failure ...The bowlers gave away more than 2800 runs and mind you England didnt bat in the second innings couple of times in a 4 match series. Very successful bowling indeed !

Indian Cricket Going Downhill

The headline makes it clear what the problem is. It's time we start looking at marketing football or hockey as potential blockbuster sporting events.

CARNAGE
by Gopal Krishnan on Aug 25, 2011 09:33 AM

As we started losing one test after another the only excuse that was put up by the Captain, players, selectors and cricket board was injury to key players. We should admit in all fairness that we did not have enought bench strength nor we had attempted to create one. Injury will never affect a team if you have bench strength. I can cite example - Viv Richards debuted (1974) because Lawrence Rowe developed eye problem, M.L.Jaisimha replaced injured Chandra during 1967 and scored 74 and 101 runs in Brisbane, Aaqib Javed thrived because Imran was not fit to bowl, Chetan Sharma replaced Binny who was sick in Bensen & Hedges Final - 1985 and there will be many more incidents. Fact is we do not care to build bench strength.

'Defeat or success, nothing affects the value of Indian cricket'

Indian Cricket and cricket players have nothing to loose. But the country's image is brought to disgrace. Is it not a concern for criket bodies and non-commital players?

Home series comming up.....
by B M on Aug 25, 2011 08:06 AM

India will thrash West Indies in the upcoming home series and the false sense of having recovered the lost form will put the Indian team back in the good books of cricket fans!....UNFORTUNATELY!!!!

They really are experts ! they very well know this country is full of fools who will forget this carnage in england with just one win or two. I admit now that english commentators are the best when it comes comment. Husain was spot on in telling why it was good that sachin didn't get his 100th 100.
