Who cares for this time-wasting&monotonous game of Test Cricket??? except Fravid???It is time TO Ban Test Cricket FOREVER to save indian economy& to save hindustan itself from misery&poverty too.All Indians who watched this & last TEST must ask themselves whether they have NOT wasted so many hours&caused the country billions of dollars by wasting productive time for nation-building or NOT!?Shame one billion people are still continuing with playing boring& time wastingTests&,etc,WE must launch a national agitation to BAN TEST matches&3 Day&ODI Matches FOREVER. india& poor countries MUST ban Test Cricket& 3 day macthes forever&Play ONLY T20 matches so that millions of man or woman hours are NOT lost watching monotonous Test cricket& 3 day macthes, etc. It is possible. This game of cricket lasting many days was invented by British looters like inventing british double agent mahatma gandhee& dirty trick of non-violence, to fool people of colonies& to make them lazy&morrrons FOREVER too by addciting them with all types of dirty tricks,Shame.Indians,Shame

It is time!
by shiva on Aug 25, 2011 06:22 AM  | Hide replies

It is time we had a wake up call; to move away from cricket! This game is too addictive and many think we are the kings. Even tiny Sri Lanka looks better! Harsh reality indeed!

Maybe soccer and traditional hockey is better suited for us. Then we can begin from scratch and move upwards than descend to bottom like in cricket. We make super beings of ordinary mortels who are like monkeys on hot bricks when on lively wickets.

Friends are forever
by Bhasmasur on Aug 25, 2011 06:07 AM

We really got break 'Friends Forever' culture in the Indian cricket.

Bhajan and Yuvi keep singing Sachin and Dhoni bhajans and they are secured in the team. RP, the most average bowler and even recent IPL performce confirms that, called in the team while he was on vacation in Miami. WHY? because he is a very good friend of Dhoni.

Don't we have any other fast bowler in India, who is currently better then RP? Ohh yes, we do have many but they're not prefered by Captain..

Honesty/Sincerity, the other name for Dravid
by Jay Sastry on Aug 25, 2011 01:24 AM  | Hide replies

How many in the cricketing world have taken the moral responsibility to step down as a leader/captain after a failure? Dravid did it when India did miscreibly in the 2007 world-cup. As soon as he was back in India, he apologized to people and tendered his resignation for the Captain's post proclaiming moral responsibility. Note that he was one of the top scorers i the series.
In the same lines, who should take the moral responsibility for this tours’ debacle? Dhoni? Srikanth? Fletcher? Raina? Bajji?
No one seems to care

Absolutely Correct. No wonder why Laksmi Mittal picked him as one of the board memeber to manage his funds to boost sport in India.

dont think like fairy tale, india did not train or utilize what we have today. Botham says England will win 1 dayers too, how?

Did we consider ROhit, Pragyan for test ? Kept on dragging Raina to spoil his 1 dayer game.

As long india is weak footed and weak time for rising and swinging balls outside off stumps with odd one coming inside, india will be stubbed again. Similar issues with Swann that is more like a medium pace spin.

India has not prepared against some methodological training and planning by angrez...

true but rohit has spoilled his chances even after getting so many chances. in fact, rohit plays more in t20 only. that also once in blue moon.
no hyped players required.

we should not look for players from heaven, look for who is best among the worse instead of making Raina out of every good 1 dayer player.
Mishra does do his job with spin but does bat well,
raina does not do his job with bat but spins to take 2 wickets -THAT IS THE PROBLEM. this is why india is not consistent as Angrez because they do their first job right.
