Come on Cheeka, put your son Anirudh in as captain, if there any other mamas, cousins etc. of yours or N.Srinivasan's bring them in also, they may provide the required cement in the team.

haha Well said, even though he is not qualified to become a water boy, we will make Aniruaddha as captain of team India
He said that we have to groom players for test cricket since our seniors who were playing for over 15 yrs will not be there forever. May be indirectly he is hinting that the seniors should retire. O.K. But what grooming does he talk about when we have Sehwag, gambhir, Yuvi, Bhajji, Zaheer and Dhoni himself in the team who have played enough test matches? Do they all need grooming? No. What they need is a good hiding. If Dhoni really wants grooming players for test matches, let them not play IPL which is not real cricket.
Dhoni is blaming only the batsmen. No doubt our batting didn't click in the entire series. What about our bowling, fielding and his own unimaginative captaincy? He says since the batsmen did not score, bowling became difficult. In the first 2 and the last tests England batted first and were allowed to score(except in the 2nd test) over 450. He thinks his bowlers can bowl as badly as they want but the batsmen should score enough runs. The thing is our bowlers could not effectively use the conditions as the English and most our batsmen were inept to play the rising deliveries. The less we say about captaincy the better.
Where is the bench strength....In the tenure of this Selection Committee we have not seen any talented cricketer coming on the International stage. This selection Committee is living on the good work done by earlier selection committee chaired by Mr. Vengsarkar. Mr Kris Srikanth selected the players for English tour in the same manner as he used to bat 'Carefreee'

Next time K. Srikant will promote his son as most valuable player and captain of India. The bunch of jokers still sitting pretty without any regret. Morever Dhoni is having Rahu Dosha for which his luck didn't click this time.

No retrospection is necessary as the writing was clearly on "THE WALL" after the first test. well it was a collective failure and it is a shame that we never stood up (except Dravid) to the pace and swing of English bowlers. Dravid was very tentative during the SA series against Morkel and Steyn but somehow he got out of his shell..Before Aus tour, we must, in some way regroup. Take bold decisions to drop non performers and inject willing players who can perform...Do not go by lucky charm..People think VVS has a liking for Aus and he will score all the time when playing against them...it is not so..given the current form, only dravid and to some extent praveen kumar are fit to make it to the Aus tour..the team should get a spiritual counselling, stop being complacent and should believe they can outperform any other team...after all, they also have only two arms and two legs..they also have the same 22 yards, three plus three stumps and the same red cherry. Make sportive pitches back home..ensure all the players, Grade A or B or C should play all the domestic tournaments...try to increase the pace of our bowlers..give a muddy pitch in India, no one wil try to bowl over 130..its a rarity for our bowlers to reach 140kmp which the aussies have made a habit...pull up, stand up and be counted...i dont know if my post can be read by the team, atleast if it reaches to them, through some means, i hope we can see a change...Thanks...

India will lose again until unless BCCI will not bring any energetic young stats in team.Since Last ten years we are watching the same team in test cricket.
It was not strength of English team but weakness of Indian players were disposed these english bowlers were not much sucessfull against Srilanka when they toured last month
