Anna Hazare as BCCI Chairman
by govind gadiyar on Aug 22, 2011 09:44 PM

Dear All,

It is good starting point to remove corruption from India. Few years ago locker in name of Gawaskar was opened with lakhs of foreign currency. We need Anna Hazare in cricket.

@ namesake..why don't u think like this when India loses despite a Sachin century? A century needs a lot of hard work..whoever scores it..players like Sachin and dravid scores for their country..they doesnt take the scores at home and keep them for personal records

Shamefull defeat
by siddesh botadara on Aug 22, 2011 09:20 PM  | Hide replies

India is now not a good team as 2 year back and also coach is not good. gary was really nice. By losing this series we have shown to world that we have become number 1 by only stat not really we deserve it. Dhoni should understand this and he should change from captain cool to angry or i shall aggressive captain. i hope that this team will save over title of world cup.

its the manner our captain succumbed to defeat.. the batsard has a disastrous tour... he is saving his energy for the clt20... the other batsard raina is equal culprit.. both dhoni and raina lick the tool of srinivasan of csk and srikanth and india as a nation has to suffer...

Meaning less records!
by Shankar Nag on Aug 22, 2011 09:11 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin is not the player once he was. Nowadays he is more worried and conscious about his records rather than the team's performance. Sachin, we respect we respect you for what you could do for the country, not for your tally of hundreds. Learn from the true hero Rahul Dravid.

it is pity that all are blaming him even after his hard fought innings today. he and mishra had tackled the in form england bowlers for about 45 odd overs. and that was what the need of the day. in the process, both of them consumed whole first session. was it the selfish play on the part of tendulkar? whether he was playing for himself and not for his team? whether he has thrown his wicket? what happened once he got out? he was playing the anchor's role! naturally, he should be cautious enough to prolong the innings so that defeat can be avoided. an unfortunate decision against him prevented him from continuing on. automatically, it was unfortunate for the team also as the remain players could not the resist for even an hour also!

Another lame justification for a selfish player's another failure. If you analyze carefully the records of Sachin, you may come to know 90% of his centuries came when the team was at comfortable postion. Players like Dravid, Steve waugh, Miandad etc. are much better players than Sachin because they used to rise to the occasion when badly required. Sachin, most of the times, aggravates the situation by getting out when the pressure piles on.

What is a comfortable position actually?? seems you have started watching cricket very recently..in One day sachin opens for India and in test he comes at no4. in most of the matches India lose openers before 50-60. and the most important thing is whenever sachin gets out Indian team starts the great parade..today is no exception. Do you morons expect him to start the innings, make others comfortable and then play till the end till everyone gets out or till we win??? great expectation..pity on your thoughts..

Did he really need to add to that reputation of playing only for records, and never mind the result?
