We'r fools to support cricket, which is a non competitive game, as only a few countries play this game. China, USA, Japan, Russia, Germany, France etc the major sports countires don't even know it.
Secondly we were hardly at top in test, one day or 20-20 for a long period - Australia had been at top for many yrs till sometime ago - but still we foolishly worship our cricketers, bcz of which they earn in crores, whereas players of other games don't even get preliminary eqpts reqd by them - I remember our cyclists got their cycles much late in CWG competition. We'r also paying huge amounts to even foreign cricketers from our pockets in IPL.

not exit button but eject button, but there is still time..one failure does not make much diff..
There was a time when test matches were played once in 3/4 years. These would invoke a lot of interest and excitement. Now it seems that there is hardly a time gap between one match and the next, under various headings ; ipl, odi, test series . To make matches exciting, the organizers have to compulsorily make teams loose and win in some order. It is for you and me to realize what games the organizers are playing with us!
Whether we like it or not, we should accept that the bench strength of this Indian team is very weak. Even the Aus side was unbeatable with Hayden, Gilchrist, Warne, McGrath etc. but once they retired, the Aus team looked beatable and weak. This is the result of not developing propoer bench strength.
BCCI should think as to who will take the places of Sachin, VVS and Dravid once they retire, the likes of Pujara, Rohit, Kohli etc. are untested at the highest level, particularly in foreign (swinging & seaming) pitches. I think the newcomers (though they are not included in the team) should travel alongwith the team and learn from the experiences....victory or defeat. And give chances regularly to players with potential. This way, the team will be betetr equipped to face bowlers on swinging pitches. After all, on a swinging pitch, even Sreesanth looks like McGrath (and of course, feels so).

shreeshant can never look like mcgrath , let alone bowl like him.. he just sprays the ball here and there and gifts away boundaries at will...plz dont compare him to the aussie gr8
cut down on matches like ipl and on sponsorships and play for the nation.it seems this indian team had fire in belly only to get more sponsorships and auctioned out for huge sums .
Dhoni or indian team is least bothered in winning any matches outside India against better teams. They have enough money & keep getting money thru ads etc. Indian cricket itself is Mafia ruled. We indian are equally stupid to support these kind of players & management. Indians should come out this cricket phobia & support other sports like Hockey, football etc, which are really a global sports

though sachin was never a great captain but most of these gentlemen played during his tenure as capatain, hence his abysmal win/loss record. With a team like the current one he atleast would have fared 20-30% better than what his captaincy record shows.By the way Ganguly remains the best Test captain and dhoni and kapil the best in one-dayers
