Dhoni and Sachin will do well in CL20 next month by leading CSK and MI..this series was just a distraction from the main money business...

please dont wright India off....
by alexander alex on Aug 14, 2011 03:48 AM

I watched the 4th days play of India at edgbaston today, i tell you althogh India have lost this series and the no 1 slot they are still a good team.
please dont write them off yet, i saw tendulkar and the likes of Dhoni bat and although they might have not gone on to get many runs these guys did well under the circumstances of a poor bowling attack which we had. i must say when Zaheer comes back we will do better. I am sure dhoni's team will bounce back in the one days.

I think we should all just chill.

India won the world cup in March. They didn't even get to celebrate this achievement. Within 4 days they were into a gruelling 45 day IPL schedule. IPL concluded, they were packed off to West Indies. Then to the UK.

Let's remember they are human beings not machines.

We have lost a series and the No. 1 ranking.Skies have not come crashing down.

Let's allow these guys a decent 2 month break after this series and their performance will automatically pick up.

Playing for the country is more important than playing for money (IPL).....If Dhoni gives an excuse of being tired, then he is to be blamed for overplaying....THEY SHOULDNT HAVE PLAYED IPL.......

first of all we never deserve No. 1 position ICC ranking. of course india played like Bangladesh. with one quality fast bowler and two world class batsmen we cant expect to keep that position for long.
thanks england for showing how cricket being played and enjoyed as a team, cheers england

Does India deserve test status at all?
by Shaunak on Aug 14, 2011 12:37 AM

The Indian team played childish, silly cricket (epitomized by Sehwag's second innings dismissal)almost throughout the series except for a few bright spots. Records and rankings apart, in the last 10 years, this kind of uncompetitive, schoolboy cricket at the highest level has been seen only from Zimbabwe, B'desh and sometime WI. Makes one wonder if withdrawing India's test playing status wouldn't be a good medicine for the ailing sport? This is of course, a pipe dream, since ICC is nothing but a parasite living off BCCI's ill-gotten wealth.

David Lloyd is a Fool
by sakthi on Aug 14, 2011 12:12 AM

Lloyd Criticized Randiv during start of SL series and Finally Randiv played well and proved Lloyd was totally wrong. India may be no1 or 2 or 3 we dont care.It may be a tough time for India but we all stand by our team.

indian skipper is better than your because he scored in pressure

even after full DOMINATION by angrez, they are forcing DRS

Ghoras showing on TV how DRS(ball tracking and hotspot and snickometer) would have saved Dravid caught decision and ishant LBW.

If dravid would have asked for DRS, they would have fudged him out. Since he did not ask they showed how DRS would have saved him. BOTH WAY ANGREZ CAN nail, be it manual or automatic.

Instead, Opposing cricket team better have better HD camera replays with 4th umpire watching the replay (from cameras of both teams) to give field umpire the feedback before he gives final decision.

NO ANGREZ Or GHORA DRS again after how angrez used DRS to gain confidence from 1st test onwards.

REST IS ALL PROPER TEAM SELECTION by selectors which has been BAD SO FAR.
they dont have Pragyan, Rohit, R P Singh and second spinner such as Rahul YETTTTTTTT ....

No doubt angrez cheats did prepare seriously under the program to be number 1 team for quite sometime. they have great fitness, bowling precision was good to frustrate opposition, batting also had tactics and patience to frustrate opposition, etc.

---

the balls should be sealed and locked SHOULD BE from a third country.

THE PITCH SHOULD BE SEALED AN LOCKED AS WELL. it should be noted how angrez do better in the morning since night allows them time to fix the pitch for angrez bowlers.
--
by acting as friends of DRS oppostion, they can buy them out as well. BE CAREFUL.
