it might sound philosophical.. but india's test cricket days are over. 1. we dont have quality bowlers. 2. our prime batsmen are old and past by date. 3. we dont have ideal pitches at home 4 we are concentrating and wasting our energies in t20s and ODIs.

cool captain is not good in batting or wicket keeping, only good captaincy can not win the game.

yes, true, our players are probably planning their games for next IPL or champions league matches.. and apart from David no one is taking the tests seriously
Winning and losing is a part of sport and life. Losing is not a crime. But what baffles me most is we as a Team lack character. What is the effort put by the team in the last 10 days (we have 10 days between the 2nd & 3rd test) to rectify their mistakes and regroup. What is Sachin's (the so called GOD of cricket by his fans) contribution both as a batsman and a senior team member to motivate and renergise the team when in deep trouble. It seems we are not a TEAM anymore. We succeed only when few individuals contribute and fail when really tested by quality opposition. This was the biggest test to the Indian team and they have failed miserably. What is most hurting is the way they ahve succumbed without a fight. Even Bangladesh would have done better. Soon after England declares, India will again fall like 9 pins. Shameful ! Shameful ! Sachin, you should hide your head in shame. You dont deserve ypur 100th hundred nor Bharatratna.

totally agreed, its simple, they dont take enough pride in representing the country. look at their efforts in the field, all of them are pregnants.
