Probably the time has come for the holy trinity to hang up their boots. With age the reflexes have dulled, ever so slightly, but enough to create problems on faster wickets and against classier opposition. The english players, batters and bowlers, are in the as good form as they ever will be in their lives. That is every time they are in trouble they are able to bounce back, but we can not.
Hes total waste. Just occupies a space in current team. he can give way to youngsters. He is no way near Sachin, VVS, Viru, Gambhir or Dhoni. He just plays negative cricket and just mounts the pressure on others. He drops catches, never scores when needed and just is as irritating a presence in the team, Why is he picked again and again> why cant he retire gracefully. Please retire dravid

If Dravid is waste, Sachin is super duper waste! And VVS is also no better. I agree Dravid has dropped catches but you are saying he never scores when needed? Have you been following this test series or some other test series being played in Mars? Criticism is good and healthy but please dont be ridiculous.

I dont think you can understand test cricket! Only technicaly strong cricketer can play like dravid, check his statistics in test match % win and draw when he was in team, so that u ll understand what is dravid. commenting without statistcs in nonsence.

are you really in your senses, is any body played cricket will agree with me that dropping catches is part & parcel of the game at all levels, check up who took maximum catches in test matches for India.he is not forcefully playing, recalling Dravid in the one day team after 2 years in the team just won the world cup is something conceded by the selectors that he is the greatest player from thr current crop of players ( sachin included ) in the ongoing second test after dravid century if other players who followed him played even 50% of his application in the first innings & got a substantial lead there will be a different story to tell.

There is only one player who has shown some fight in this series, and that is Dravid. Drop him? And then be all out for 100? You will be happy then? Even the English team considers his wicket as the prime wicket now. But you an Indian doesnt think so. No wonder our cricket is in doldrums, with so called 'fans' as you. Pathetic.
I am roporting what has already reported by more knowledgable of cricket.e should have skiped the tour of WI and instead should have prepared to bat and bowl in seamy and swinging wickets in England.
After they won the world cup and also became no.1 in test; they went into air; now if cricket was to be played in space I am sure they will have continued winning; Ground is not the place now for our cricketers; This was visible from WI series where instead of playing good cricket and trying to win match with some risk involved they preferred to draw the match and win the series so their main intention is to be No.1 and the way to achieve that is not to play good cricket but to tactically defend the title; Which is wrong you have to be brave heart to be No.1 for long time; Aussies displayed that character.
When lots of cricket pundits asked the question of creditability of Indian team for being ranked no.1 in world all supporters started abusing them without knowing the fact. Please follow the details: A)The Indian team consist of god batsman but not match winners. B)No Indian bowler has guts to be called a mtach winner. C)We feel sachin is god but just see his career record,has he won match for india,check n just give one example,he is good batsman but not great batsman. D)Our players like sehwag,bhaji,dhoni,sachin,zaheer, all plays good innings out of 10 say 3 times n we start giving them lots of appaulses. E)Why are we against DRS system,are we cheaters? F)No player is off beat when they play IPL.WHY? G)We won world cup but do we deserve it? H)BCCI is main for bringing in corruption in cricket. So please do not make hero or god someone without seeing his achievement,one thing I would like to add is why sunil gavsakar writes whatever hewishes,he is comparing riots with terrorist attack in india,come on sunny you have been great batsman but pleasedo not make us pay for your foolishness,& no wonder ravi shastri commentery is just stuck to one place how sachin can score 100 centuries,let him score duck & play for more 15 yers but let india win,non of Indian commentater is ready or Indian media is ready o accept that sachin is now just playing for records,he has achived for him not for country non of his record is having any value now becoz in his balance sheet t

You are absolutely right. Sachin should draw inspiration to get century for team's winning cause importantly when team is in crisis, the so called god should save the team!!
Fletcher has given stupid reasons for India's failure in today's papers. He said that team from sub continent always find it difficult to play swing and adjust to the conditions, lack of preparation time, the ball swings so much more than what it used to be in my playing days and all that crap.What is he doing as the coach, who is familiar with the condotions in England. He could have guided the team. He was the one who was responsible for the rise of this Englaish team. Probably he doesn't want India to be the no.1 team or it may be that Indian team doesn't want him to continue as the coach( remember how badly they performed in 2007 WC to see the back of Greg Chappell).The greatest disappoitments are the performances of the "Holy Ttrinity". They are familiar with the conditions yet failed to perform. Can't fathom what is wrong with them .

What if England beat us here and we beat them in India (which we have)....who is to say, who is at top??? Only ranking points will be objective in that case (though not ideal, it will be the best bet)
Further i also think that India should put up "unsporting" wickets for all these teams , when they visit India (they do vice-versa to us -don't they???)

Not only this series, anytime India tours to England, they find difficult and lose the first test.After 25 yrs, Ind won the series in Eng in 2007 because of the brilliant batting from ganguly, tendulkar and dravid and zaheer's bowling. it is nonsense to expect the same result this year also. Pitches behave the same way as it was.
Why is India being humiliated? Because they are not playing well! What a revelation!! Who but a regular Test Match player would have got to the root of the problem. He should also give his views about why they are not playing well. Is it because they are not good enough, or is it because they do not want to play well?
It was the one of the worst performance by the great Indian Cricket Team. Easy Catches was dropped by Rahul Dravid and Sreeshant speaks volume about concentration lapse on their part. This worst performance due to Continous cricket played by these people since after completion of World cup. To overcome this we need to scrap that dirty IPL.India show today to the entire world that they are No 1 worst team. Now onwards Indian cricket will lose against all test playing nations including Zimbabwe, Bangladesh. It is looks like a club team. Thank you very much IPL
