Vijay Merchant had rightly said that if you retire at the right time, than only people remember you. But in Indian cricket no body retires, unless he is sure that now he is going to be kicked out. It is unfortunate that our star cricketers including legends like Gavaskar and Kapildev have been assets for our team in the first about 60 - 75% of the matches they have played for india. There after they have become liability for the team and have been reason for its defeat.

All of rhem should be given Bharat Tatna along more reserve players like; Karunanidhi, Kanimozhi, Mulayam,Sonia, Chidambaram etc
cook is great test batsman. he has improved as test player since last ashes series. He piled up 800 in 5 test against Aus, helped them to win series. I have watched one of test in Syd scoring 100s. Love his batting. I told before this series, india will have a hard time winning. 4-0 whitewash is well written.
The first blame should go to useless selector who keep selecting same old for last 3-4 years despite they were expired. They never given any decents chance to new comer. There are many good test players, instead of selecting them, they give a chance to odd, unheard player all of sudden.
There are many player don't deserve to be part of team and permanent member like bajji, isanath sharma. how can you expect win match with third class bowler.
there are too many old in team, who do worse in fielding than any good for team. They are still carry forward for past performance. I never criticized sachin in past, but the current series was total disastrous. If he continue next two tests like first 2, he should retire gracefully. Too much of him about 100th century.
Tendulkar's End in Cricket is most likely to be sad. Now noone will clamor for giving BharatRatna to him. He has to wait for a Bangladesh tour to get his 100th 100!

who says' its tendulkar's end...he will still continue to play till his son retires from cricket..
Angrez have been very successful in their frustration tactics against indian batting and bowling as well their domination tactics.
Now when india made headway with spin, ANGREZ got swann and Peitersen to compete and dominate in that area right away with an very aggressive fielding setup. Angrez already have leeched out what Panesar can offer into Swann and that is the reason spinner of level Harbhajan were no success and only helped to increase confidence of Angrez. THIS MEANS INDIA SHOULD have had 2 spinners of Pragyan and Rahul order in the attack. Batting wise, Sehwag should have been sent down the order until this horse is ready to run as it used to. Dravid going up the order until sehwag is ready. that was wrong planning and it did not happen. Needs to have players like Rohit and kohli on the nets and padded up to play in the 11, allowing tendulkar into 3rd test to complete records was not wise. tendulkar also made mistake in letting BCCI agree on partial DRS under media pressure. Players like Dravid would have not dropped so many catches if there was proper Program to make India a number 1 that included fitness. and R P singh needs to be there on the nets as well and was supposed to be there for 3rd test.
where are all the bird-brained experts who were screaming sehwag the biggest match winner will demolish england... and somehow all barking street stray dogz claiming sehwag is biggest indian player are no where to be seen now... anyhow sehwag proved my predictions wrong by about 15 balls and 20 runs which is not so bad for a test match...

who is better opener in English conditions? Mukund or Sehewag? Two innings he lasted less than an over Srikant and co biased against Mukund
