Absense of shewag is definately one of the reason for Indias defeat , but if you have a look at the final outcome of both the test matches .... Its the performance of Matt Prior (ENG WK ) and non porformance of Dhoni(Ind WK) that made the difference.
Dravid , Yuv / Raina made runs and Ishant /Praveen Kumar/Sreeshant did take wickets at par with Pitersen /Bell/Trot & Anderson/Broard/Bresan
Indian team lost coz they r not used to pitches that has lot of bounce and swing. If they were to play next test in india with the same team, agaist the same England team, they will win .there is no doubt about it.
sehwag's inclusion will definately be a shot in sehwag's inclusion will definately be a shot in the arm for india. gambhir and sehwag opening together is gonna make a huge difference.. england to get a killer punch in about a week's time.. sehwag has the potential to win one match atleast single handedly out of the two remaining..the arm for india. gambhir and sehwag opening together is gonna make a huge difference.. england to get a killer punch in about a week's time.. sehwag has the potential to win one match atleast single handedly out of the two remaining..

just because sehwag hasnt done so well in england till now u cannot term it that way. so u mean agarkar and kumble were swing experts coz they scored centuries here?

remember.....footwork is the "heart n soul" of batting especialy playing in ENG conditions....sehwag's inability is lack of footwork and unable to play against bounce.....these are good bowling conditions.....not subcontinent mud tracks...he is like any other IND player....they will bounce him out.....

lack of footwork against swinging deliveries and bounce in the pitch.....these are sehwag's weaknesses....ENG has tall bowlers.....he is like any other IND player in these conditions....they will bounce him out...
That's a fact that England team is good in 2011. England team members are out performing other team members. I mean, Bresnan comes in as injury replacement and outshines everyone. Also shows their bench is strong. What about India new breed batsmen. Well, where are they? I can't find any. Mukund, Vijay, Kohli may not have the technique and lack consistency. India is still depending on Dravid, Laxman and I don't expect to see them anymore in 2 years. Sachin is a great performer but not a batting leader like Dravid. Sachin needs some support at the other end to deliver. Same issues with new breed bowlers Sharma, Praveen or Munaf. Not fast and fewer arsenal. They are slow medium looking mostly for accuracy. Harbhajan is spent as of 2011. We need new, fresh blood with art like Swann. I would rather welcome the new #1 test cricket team England. They deserve the crown after first 2 tests.

ENG performing like this for the past 2 years..against all teams....played very tough test cricket on "sporting pitches".....unlike india who are comfortable on "mud tracks"....
1.highly over rated, not in the class WI of 80's & Aus of 90's 2.too much money involved, more interested in advts & charity dinners 3.how can some of them be in the team when they cant stand up to short pitched deliveries 4.poor captaincy;failed in boling changes & field placings 5.captain has no locus standi;on this tour his average is only 12
Indian cricket is 10%cricket,90%pray god.after world cup win ,fanatic supporters of india became complacent and over confident.they thought prayers was not required qny more.they will win on their abilities and talents.alas it was not to be.wake up my friends start praying for india to bounce back
