Play with four seamers and a leggie.
by sanjay on Aug 03, 2011 09:00 AM  | Hide replies

play with four seamers and a leg spinner in balance tests.Indian seamers can not bowl more than 16 overs a day in four spells.

General Indian physique does not allow that.

Whom you are gng to drop?? Raina?? Also, the leggie n all the four seamers cant even put bat to the ball.. I think going with same combination is the best option,, 3 seamers with a spinner..

Ireland can play better than india

India played like Ireland. They need to take a series with Ireland once England series is over. Ireland can play better.

It is an insult to Bangladesh. They play better competitiveness cricket.

Our young players like Raina and Yuvaraj can't play short pitch deliveries and were looking like helpless bunch of jokers. If they can't play competitive in international venue then, they can't shape up to Dravids of tomorrow. Dhoni is running out of his luck and his keeping and batting completely fractured. Bajji should know now, why Kumble was successful in international cricket even though he never spun the ball like others - it is just thinking ahead of batsman. Tendulkar needs to live up to his expectations in crucial matches like these two completed and not in dead pitches by hitting tons and tons. While he played good 2nd innings in 2nd test, it is insufficient for his stature and he can't expect Dravid or Laxman will play in every matches.

Stop playing matches in India
by LOL on Aug 03, 2011 07:52 AM

Thats the solution. If we can or have to pick the right talent fit for international cricket, then we need batsmen who shine on green tracks and bowlers (spinners and seamers) who take wickets outside India.

All Indian curators should be fired enmasse and replaced with curators who prepare true wickets reminscient of international wickets. With so much domestic cricket being played in placid tracks we have produced "star-like" batsmen even at No 9, while even the specialist batsmen are failing far below average in international conditions.

Please isolate the records made in Indian pitches for heavens sake. Let all the cricketers earn their money truthfully.

India did not play like Bangladesh
by NarasimhaRao O on Aug 03, 2011 03:09 AM

India did not play like a Bangladesh, it just played like the way played 5 years ago, i.e., did not play like a team, but they will not to loose to England. The current test series result will be 2-2 or 3-1.

lol...brainless solution. How about this? If whatever company you work in shows a loss or reduction in Earnings per share or even reduction in Net Income you lose 1/3 salary? If you are unemployed the longer you go without getting a job its money owed to govt. If you are self-employed and dont make more money than last year: you owe govt money. If you make money..the difference between what you made last year to this is for govt coz you just met the expectation....

I agree BCCI should create circumstances to help Sachin score a c
by Proud Brahmin on Aug 02, 2011 11:21 PM  | Hide replies

I agree BCCI should create circumstances to help Sachin score a century in this tour , after all he is the greatest athlete in the history of the human kind on the planet earth who is also considering business ventures while he is on tour and that keeps him busy , but he should be allowed to do that as he is a Saraswat Brahmin being the favorite Shishya of goddess Saraswati.Imagine if Zaheer or Irfan had taken care of a business venture while on the tour , but yes we owe Sachin all these opportunities , be it tax free Ferrari or his ability to indulge in busines venture while on a official tour after all India is for the Brahmins , Of the Brahmins.

If Sachin in spite of being given given special circumstances by using BCCI influence (like pressurizing umpires to never give Sachin LBW etc and having Shastri on the commentators box who would be extolling the god of Indian cricket all along ) we should ask Newzealand to tour India in hot summer so that Sachin ca score a century in a small stadium in tier II city in India. I hope I speak for all devotees of Sachin the god of Indian cricket and keep quiet Geoffrey Boycott and we love you Tony Greig and ofcourse Ravi Shastri.

Very well said.
BCCI morons are doing business and not managing the game. So dont worry Sachin fans, they (Srinivasan and co will make it happen). Now they have send Shewag as the MESSIAH. Why? they can control any other board than ECB. Shewag will be able to play just the first day of cricket as Saheer did in the first test.
