Sachin the greatest.

Though I am against the decision taken by Dhoni because of Sachin, I would like to add that it is only Sachin greatness & noting else & Bell should be out before tea.

Yeah thats what everyone enjoys, make Tendulkar god all the time. If Harbhajjan bowls a brilliant ball, it was Sachin who told him how to!!! If he had stuck around and scored that 56 in the first innings we would have probably been better served. Not a Sachin hater, but MS made the decision and lets leave it at that. Whether it was Sachin who told him to do it or his mum or his wife doesnt matter.

Exactly. Honestly, i don't think Tendulkar is to be blamed. It's the media that is obsessed with Sachin.

ha ha ha well said...

there are so many hypocrites and boot^^lickers of sachin in india...

whenever sachin is out he always gets out on a amazing delivery (according to gavaskar) and when others are out in the same way they lack technique

when others get out before completing the job gavaskar thunders that you should complete the job at hand...

when sachin does that innumerable times (175 against aus in odi) gavskar sings different tune...

when others have difficulties in facing bowling they are bad players, they should learn short stuff etc. and when sachin is caught in the same situationo the weather is not good the ball is doing something the bowling is intelligent, sachin is trying his best, etc. etc. ....

I know why Gavaskar does that. He is in fact jealous of Tendulkar and does not want that to be evident. That's why, he is always praising Tendulkar and at times overdoes it.

he even tried to touch sachin's feet when sachin made that 200* against SA in odi.

i really lost respect for gavaskar that day../

and it is not as if it was an extraordinary innings...he made 200 not out on the flattest pitch ever in cricket in about 25 overs. people conveniently forget that other indian players added another 200 runs in remaining 25 overs and we made 400 runs in 50 overs...

Gavaskar was a great player, no doubt but he sounds more like a Tendulkar agent and less of a commentator.

It was a stupid move nonetheless.

Bell was clearly out by the laws of the game, i don't understand this "spirit of the game" ...unnecessary move by team india to give bell a second life.

bell's carelessness had cost him, he is himself to blame for the mess. how can you just walk coolly down the pitch when you haven't checked if the ball went for boundary....also umpire had made no signal of boundary...

maybe just an attention diverting tactic by our team

Well said. Remember a similar accident in the Centenary test between the same teams in Mumbai in 1980 when the then captain GRV recalled Bob Taylor and lost the Test eventually.

what is more exasperating is vishwanath's comments that "spirit of cricket" is more important than winning a test match. total crap. yes we lost that test!! and it is counted as 1 match series, so that counts as a series defeat of india in india! horrible.

vishwanath did the same thing, diverted attention and the shoulder of responsibility from defeat by saying spirit of cricket is more important than winning
