India's loss to England
by nandakumar on Aug 02, 2011 03:25 PM

The English press has suggested that the Indian team is underprepared and not paticularly interested .
The biggest culprit has to be Dhoni . Why has he not shown the commitment to this series that she showed for IPL .dOES HE PLAY FOR india or srinivasan . One should not be surprised if he puts up a sterling show in the Champions Cup .
He is basking with the UB LIQUOUR AD WHERE he had no qualms about running down a team mate . DHONI IS HEADERD THE AZHAR WAY
It is high time he is reprimanded anmd dropped ..but who will bell the cat ?
- not srinivasan who is more concerned about Chennai supekings than TEam India
- Not srikanth who is humouring Dhoni to ensure his son gets a berth in the Indian team.

These cricketers are mercenaries...extremely artrogant ..with most of them seeing a good life overnight. Classic case is our ticket collector from Ranchi ..who believes and behaves like he is royalty . He showed no remorse or regret for the loss
4- 0 WOULD BE A BEFITTING RESULT to get our superegos down to terra firma

Blame it on Dravid
by Srinivasan Rajagopal on Aug 02, 2011 03:18 PM  | Hide replies

He is the main reason for our loss in both the tests. We could have atleast saved the test had he not been out to horrendous shots...hes a loser..when the team needs him, he wont play..dont ask what other batsmen did...why he didn't do??.rather he plays for his records..drop him for ever

IPL matches are spoiling our Test Batting standard
by sridhar kumar on Aug 02, 2011 03:15 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni don't deserve the place in test team, if you see his record and batting sytle, he always struggle to bat against medium pacers. My suggestion please drop Dhoni from test team, if you want to see india no.1, otherwise don't allow them to play in IPL Matches. Because if you play IPL and Test match simultaneously than you will loose the standard of the match. One more thing why indians always looks the individual performance in international level eg: everyone waiting for Sachin's Ton but not india's win. If india wins automatically every indian win. Please don't praise for sachin's ton and harbhajan's 600 wickets. These are all come after INDIA's WIN.

Well said dear friend, this is the problem with Indians, Sachine should have attained higher records very early but he lost a number of opportunities, by succumbing to pressure, some times he never played like the tailenders of team, as we praise one or two of the team while number of talented are waiting outside for an opportunity... last IPL was an example, there is 100 sachins and bhajjis... we need persons to withstand pressures, whatever his achievements will be, he should concentrate for Team Indias win rather than PERSONAL gains and records... should not play for self..

That is living in fools paradise.Dhoni is more interested in delivering IPL and Champions trophy to Srinivasan & co.
His whole approach is as if he is on a holiday to promote his wife's charity.
Most players would be busy shooting for advertisements during this break.
They dont give a damn for playing for India ..neither does the BCCI .fINALLY ALL of them are accountable to the taxpayers on whose money's these guys are having a nice English holiday

i think harbhajan is not only responsible for this defeat.we should blame the so called master blaster sachin tendulkar for his poor show till now, as well as the cool captain dhoni for his worst form as a batsman. Abhinav mukund should play at number five and sachin should open with sehwag as in 50-over match.

exactly, it's logic, how can 1 man (harbhajan) be responsible for big defeats in both Tests??!?

Agreed, bhajji had a poor test, but what are the others doing?
