It is time india and poor countries ban Test Cricket and 3 day matches forever and Play ONLY T20 matches so that millions of man or woman hours are NOT lost watching monotonous test crciket and 3 day macthes, etc. BCCI and rulers are still behaving as slaves of Westerners, shame they have appointed white skinned westerners as coach, assistant coach etc paying millions of dollars though we have excellent indian coaches like jimmy amarnath, madan lal and so mnay other who can do better jobs than foreigners. BCCI and government must NOT allow more than 2 foreign players in each team and that will gove greater opportunity to indians as well. What a shame that BCCI and rulers are behaving as slaves of westerners even now or are they getting huge kick-backs in the deals involving forein players, etc, Millions of cricket fans must not allow our country to be looted again by foreigners and goreign business houses any more.Hope millions of indians are listening and that they will take necessary action to give justice to indian public and indian players and national honour and pride too.
Good wishes to Fletcher! Hope we will win 2015 WC under his team. He has a challenging role as Lax, drvd, sach is in the last 2 years of their career. And our young talent have less experience outside India. Hope this guy is as good as Kirsten or even more than him.

if Sharad pawar still alive by that time and if he continue to be ICC cheap(chief) we will def. win again...
please come out from GULAMI of britisher. please aappint at elast a young coach, Like our politician( mostly all aboove 60 ) BCCI is also going for aged coach.
A coach for India should be one who can run across the field with the team, like Gary did. Who sweats himself with others, runs around, catches, throws balls, dives and monitors outfielding techqniues, knees down with younger players for slip catching and close in fielding.
An oldie is good for textbook coaching, but not for INDIA. Gary was good cuz he was of team india's generation and knew the mix.
There was a Keith Fletcher who played for England many years ago and may even have been captain. Duncan played for a short while so not very famous and not easy to recall his name.
I dont know what criteria does the bcci look for while selecting coaches. While choosing a bowling coach, bcci went for eric simmons rather than allan donald who was also in the fray. It was under allan donald as the bowling coach, that england bowling got a revival. During the 2005 ashes series in england where they beat australia, donald was their bowling coach. Bowlers like anderson, harmison, sidebottom, hoggard etc bowled brilliantly for england during that series. Till now, even after six months of taking charge, eric has not been able to contribute significantly to our bowling dept. We won the world cup only bcoz of our batting might.Bowling still remains a concern for the new world champions.
