What a pity?
by Money Maker on Apr 15, 2011 12:41 PM

You were our cricket team coach when we were ousted of WC2007 and you are the national selector of your own cricket team when it got a beating in WC2011 QF.
Do you still feel like a loser? What a pity?

Yes, Chappell was amenable and more of it was that he disliked the personality of Sourav.

He has not liked Sourav but also Tendulkar. That was the reason he tempted Dravid to demand captaincy till 2007 wc

by Samsung on Apr 15, 2011 08:23 AM  | Hide replies

Sometime back Mahela was opening the batting for Srilanka, he was reasonably successful too, But for WC he was asked to come down in the order which he did. Where as Sachin refused to do it in the 2007 WC. If Sachin feel he is right then coach need not be there.

please donot forget the fact that Chappal tried to play divide and rule policy with Indian cricket. That has not worked out. To be frank, Dravid, Tendulkar and Sourva were the persons who recommended Chappal and this fellow tried to remove Sourav and Tendular by making Dravid the Captain

Sachin naturally wanted to improve his record by playing more. Who would stop him ? Given that he is patroned by none other than the Marathi Gurus who collectively played cheap to oust Sourav on the plea that he was old. Is sachin or Dravid younger? This all happen in India. thank you for your observation. Anyway, they will never care of what u write here.

Why not separate teams from India.
by Jagdish Reddy on Apr 15, 2011 08:20 AM  | Hide replies

Great Britain got 3 teams. Why not India. For 1.1 Billion people, why cann't we have more teams. India generates most of the money for ICC. Why not more teams based on regions or states or languages or whatever :)
Why not Indian Umpires in ICC. Why not some coaching centers for them in India?
Please all those patriots out there, don't start abusing me for saying this :) I am not a Pakistani :) lol :)

Ya, Reddy's always think about making illegal money and such activities (ex: Reddys of landmines).
As such we r fed up with the overdose of cricket. This great man Reddy wants a couple of more teams to kill us with cricket. We r a cricket crazy nation, true. But people like Reddy divide the already damaged nation :(
