Chappel also nearly destroyed Virendra Sehwag's career. Other losses to the team include Irfan Pathan and the selfless team player Mohd Kaif. Chappel was one of the greats of his era as far as batting was concerned, but as a coach, he was a disaster
if you read chappel's view on cricinfo, crikcet's officail site... most of you will understand it as "australia dont have young talents like india, so they cannot afford to waste talent, rather they need to search a lot for it..." in his view it looks like he was never pointing at india, rather he was tellling positively to australian media that "even if india wastes few talents also, they can fill up with another talent, So, in a 1 billion cricket fanatic nation talent is easily available, which is not the case in australia of 22 million ppl with limited cricket interest in ppl". rediff is trying to dig a controversy theory out of which is a supposed to be positive comment on australian cricket...

But his behaviur in India also held this view, may be that time not so straight forwardThat's why this great White man saw to it that we waste a few of our talented lot including Sachin and Sourabh

Madhusoodan, that's what I realized when I read the story on Cricinfo. Rediff is manipulative.

He wasn't talking to the indians.. Rediff seems to do a text scan for "India" and posts it.
