foreign player or coach is helping their countrymen..aussie interference is legendary..Srilankans are also not far behind..it was interesting to see malinga bowl the final over to dilshan..and helped him get a six and four..and see how he bowls to indians. Only indian is sworn enemy of another indian.

To me Malinga is not a Bowler at all.He is a CHUCKER...only chuckers can get dead right Yorkers. If you had watched WC, his bowling action was differrent.
This IPL is pathetic with very few quality matches. Test matches are the best test of a players ability and SL would be up against a tough English bowling...
initially pitches used to be Bowling pitches...they gave more bounce or they were fast ones, it was always difficult to score runs before 1990, nowadays to keep viewers glued they are making it more batsman friendly pitches, reason why lots of batsmen have scorred 10000 runs in tests,One-days, One more thing was, there was no limitations on number of bouncers in over and bodyline was still there, plus helmets wern't there, thats how u can say 50 runs of that time is equivalent to todays 100....

helmets were there...maybe not during larwood jardine time..but soon after.

Graham Yallop of Australia was the first to wear a protective helmet to a test match on 17 March 1978, i think indians have not used helmets till 83...
mumbai already had Sachin,Malinga,Pollard... they still went for big names like Rohit,Symmonds, why the hell Punjab,Deccan,Delhi didn't get these players? now there is no balance in IPL teams... some r very strong, some are very weak... we need entertainment from IPL its shouldn't be like bangladesh series of australia...

your responses show you know nothing about cricket but pretend to do so. Your emotions take over your mind.

pune just coz you are from mumbai-pune region? pune has yuvraj and uthappa. but give them a flat track and their unknown bowlers will be thrashed to every part of the ground. they won a match against a useless team like punjab afterall.

iyer you don't know a thing about cricket. i never said lee was god. but he is a damn good bowler and adds to striking power for KKR. your responses are so pathetic and fully devoid of cricketing logic.

i am from baroda..and look at the bowling figures of fast bowlers save malinga in these initial few matches...further lee is human and not god or assistant god of cricket..this ipl is for slow bowlers and quality spinners..see what abdulla is doing for kkr.
success is a pointer what it was to play west indian auusie and english pacers in 60s 70s. Today globally standards has fallen. malinga is just a shadow of those former greats...tait lee steyn lack control and direction. Todays batting stars would have fallen like 9 pins...enjoy ipl.lolololol

why are you speculating? You never know whether Sachin would have done greatly or badly against 70s quartet. So better not to even think about it.

had steyn played in bowling friendly conditions of 80's he wud have been unplayable bowler....

not necessarily..see imran kapil wasim etc..have got lots of wicket on subcontinent dead tracks..control and line is most important.
