Pakistan has sponsored terrorist attacks in India time and time again. They have fought wars with us. How can we play cricket or any other sport with them? It is the worst kind of insult to the innocent victims and brave fighters who have lost their lives in such attacks. It was horrifying to see our PM invite Pakistan's PM for the match.
And no, I am not mixing sport with politics. We should not have any relations (trade/sports/cultural) with a double faced neighbour that lives on international alms to "fight" terrorism and then uses the same money to sponsor terrorists. The common man in Pakistan is not at fault but can they not see what their government/army is upto? Pakistan has no identity of its own other than its "anti-India" stance.

I wholeheartedly support the notion. What Afridi said in that interview of his has very little to do with Cricket. He talked like a Jinnah or a Zaid Hamid. The reason why he had to retract was IPL. I think the franchisees should continue the boycott of Pakistani players.
Afridi, forked tongues are dangerous. But one can understand your plight. In India, after losing the match, you spoke in true sportsman spirit. Once in Pakistan, you spoke a different languare. Understandable. There was a peition of betting in a Pakistani court. Before that, a Pakistani minister had warned the team. Imran Khan rubbished it. And you say one thing one day and another thing the next day. Understandable. But understand that you developed a big heart after breathing the fresh air of a free country!
