sad comment. Why you people want sachin to retire. Matches are not won by counting average age of team or of individual player. rather they are won by performances by team and individual player. If a player at 35 or 40 is producing consistent result better than the younger one then why do you want to replace him. Its a nationala team not a charity firm so that you keep distributing opportunity. One who performs and has ability to perform should stay.

may be there is another young sachin can be identified but it can happen only if oppurtunities are given
please don't cricket is a national game. it is business.
sachin is not playing for free. he is being paid as a salary and more benefits than normal citizens

You want Sachin to apply hair dye and play or else he should be allowed to play till 60 years. Fact is, after Sachin, Dravid and Laxman decide to hang their boots,Indian team will be reduced worse than bangladesh. By 2015, Dhoni, Nehra, Sehwag, Gambhir, Zaheer, Yuvraj, Munaf will be 34 . BCCI need to add fresh legs as WC will be in Australian graveyard.

if sachin wants to continue, he should play free if he loves cricket so much

It is right time for sachin to retire. He should not be greedy. But, i have doubt on him. he will continue till he can. Coz lots things(ie money, glam) all will be lost as soon as he retire.

If he is contributing well, no need for him to retire. The best 11 men should play in the team, period. Their ages do not matter.
The Indian team should seak atleast 3 new seamers now. We need really a good seamers in our team which is the main concern in Indian Team. I dont know whether they started searching a 3 seam bowlers.
The seam bowler should have following qualities :-
1. Who can bowl more than 140 kmph 2. Who should be below 25 years. 3. Who should bowl yorkers. 4. Who should show varieties.

ask any child .nobody wants to be bowler. everyone wants to be sachin tendulkar. zaheer, bhajji are in fag end of career. they shall be there for a year or two max. munaf, nehra, piyush and sreeshant do not have merit to be in side. so cupboard is empty. kirsten realised this. so he quit when india was on top.

Yes, the domination should be like the way West Indies and Australia did. In test Dravid, Tendulkar, VVS are all nearing retirement. We became No. 1 with their useful contribution. Hope they will be around for two more years.
