Same was told for Hussey, Even before the Ashes every one asked Hussey head, Imagine what would have happened to Aussies without Mike, It would have been 0-5 and all Innings Defeat.
That's why I said, for 4 or 5 years and After that you have Rahane

FYI, Indian hockey team made most influence , on a wider perspective than cricket team. Bharat Ratma posthumously to Dhyan Chand first.

Due to political state of the world back then when non-white players were considered inferior and poor, India's hockey team's achievements are monumental convincingly routing many world's greatest teams for many years for the whole world to look at India's might , kinda of like significance the black Jesse owens had in 1936 olympics

Sehwag? Not every one can't be Sehwag. S Raina is a good ODI and T20 Player and Pathan is Fit for T20 only IMO
Re: Re: Re: Who
by Senthil on Apr 04, 2011 06:46 PM
Sorry, Yuvi and S Raina not for Tests IMO, Bot of their FC Avg suggests they were not fit for Tests and it is Proven now.
I would Still try for Kohli to Test and Badri along with Pujara and later on A Rahane to replace Badri
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Who

Badri played only 2 Matches and on Debut he also scored Fifty against Styen and co. 2 Matches hardly a Matter to say he is a Failure and He scored over 1000 runs in this Domestic season.
M Vijay is fit only for Opening and I don't want him to play in the Middle order anytime

LG is gone in his bed room and close all the doors and windows he will come out only after 2015 WC
Re: Re: Even after Sachin saying Dhoni is best captain,

I think he will come as soon as Dhoni fails in one innings. According to LG,Dhoni promoted himself in the WC final when the India team position was very strong and also improved his average by remaining not out.lol.

LG finds everything in Dhoni, suppose if Dhoni takes requirement LG will say Dhoni took retirement because he finds Kabaddi has more money
Arjun Tendulkar is going to make his debut in 6 months, and will become the youngest cricketer (at the age of 14) to play international cricket By the end of his exhausting career at the age of 46 years which includes 8 World Cups, he would have played 1521 ODIs, 316 Hundreds, 413 Fifties - total 71,200 runs. 422 tests, 201 Hundreds, 122 Fifties at an average of 106.53 He becomes the greatest ever player to hold a bat in his hand It will be a wonderful site both him and his father opening together which will happen shortly... (BTW Arjun is left-handed) All the best to young Arjun (He looks somewhat similar to Arjuna Ranatunga)

Cricket is not our National game yet to give award to all. If SRT to Bharat Ratna only becoz we won WC, is not fair. Then Kapil comes first there :P
Re: Re: Re: Sachin

Yeah, that's why I meant if you want to give Awards for WC win then they also deserves it, so It's not based on WC

Anand should get the Ratna ahead of any other sportsman. There was no Indian grandMaster before him, and he has achieved everything. He is a super duper genius and I doubt in my lifetime there will be another Indian chessplayer who will match his achievements.

I agree on that, He got the 2nd Highest Civilian Award of Padma Vibhushan ahead of Sachin in 2007
