NO doubt about it. What a fighter. The only thing Gambhir needs to remember is to value his wicket even more going forward...and keep his emotions in check. NO point going and trying to hit that six with a flourish to complete his century in the final. The country needed him to stay till the end...and even if he completed his century with singles...that would be more valuable for the team and the country.
He carried the team through with sheer determination. Next time he should just dig in and be even more stingy about losing his wicket. This man is the player that has impressed me the most in this WC from team INdia. A youngster with a very solid temperament and determination of steel.
Already Pakistani fans and discussion boards hate Gambhir so much. Which shows he must be doing something right! Keep it up YOung Man.

bizzarre over, no one played the way they play in normal series, the cup was for sachin , Thank you pawar Sir, for giving US world cup.These 4 yrs uve worked day in day out thts z, and ur hard work paid off, which v noticed against pakistan who dropped so many catches , and was playing for india. What a Cup What a Victory . ENJOY

In fact he is the only person who deserve this Trophy because, poor Indian fan will never come to know the fact behind this world cup win. Lesson for you all is keep reading news from internet not only porn movies and bollywood n hollywood movies. if you had sense you could have known that this episode of world cup was just a kind of Indian Lagaan of Aamir Khan movie.

wht he has to give a chance to any one, they have to earn there place by giving good performance, how many chance r. sharma and yusuf pathan got. He can decide when he can quit oneday or test. even this world cup he is our number one player

shewag cant score in every match....these things happen...Thats where Team work is seen...when one player does not perform other excels and helps the side win a game....Aussies had this team spirit before when they won WC 3 times in a row.
