The best thing about this victory was that it was total team effort. In the quarters against Australia, it was Yuvraj and Raina who took the team to victory. In the semis versus Pakistan, it was the bowlers who helped India defend a modest total. And in the final against Sri Lanka, it was Gambhir and Dhoni who played match-winning innings. Almost all the players stood up to be counted.
The Indian team was like one family, with one vision and one mission - the triumph of the spirit of India.

He is right. He looked tense. You could have a Million Records, but what is the use if you get nothing when you need at least one.

:) Don't bet on it... He can still come back and torment your team some more... I don't think it's going to be THAT easy for Michael Clarke as you think... :)

Well he deserves respect having played for so long. But he is hardly what his fans make him out to be. Hope his hardcore fans have got the treatment they deserve.

Were you celebrating with the dictionary while drunk ?
It has been a great week for Indian Cricket and we deserve every moment of this great victory. We should also look at what the Indian cricket future holds for us. I think now is the time for BCCI to start developing youngsters and look at the future. Look at our current team and imagine in 2 years time what will be the situation. On the bowling front, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan and maybe Munaf might not be as effective as they are today. Similarlly in batting, Sachin, Sehwag, Yuvraj may not be the same or will be retired. In the coming one day series, I think the Indian team should comprise the next generation of cricketers. It should be a mix of current experience and new blood in both batting and bowling departments. What do you guys think.

Agreed.Just as Dravid,Ganguly, Laxman and Kumble made way for the youngsters, we have to build the team for the future otherwise Indian cricket will suffer like the W.I and Australia with the loss of great players. Tendulkar can play as long as he is fit and scoring runs.Harbajan's form has gone down and we require new spinners apart from Ashwin and Chawla.More opportunities should be given to new talent.IPL should throw some new talent for India and Dhoni is the right captain for the new talent.
