Hey come on guys u guys can't compare tendulkar with doni or any individual with anybody.....those who abuse sachin either don't don't understand cricket or don't want to understand...Dhine is captian material..that's why he was recommended by sachin after 2007 loss as we know it was originally offered to him..please grow up guys..while making any accessment..be rational.
Without Sachin's contribution, we would not have reached even semi-finals, leave alone finals.
I would say Dhoni is plain lucky in his career till now. I have not observed any bold & daring decisions which have turned the tide in favour of India this world cup. If someone thinks that a mere 91 has brought us the World cup, then he is being dumb as you are forgetting Gambhir's contribution in the finals.

No way. Dhoni cant be as choking as sachin. TRUE. Sachin had not luck even after pakis dropping him 6 times. Poor guy.

Good. So basicaly dont forget all players and their contributions. Even people who give up their favorite slots to have tendu play in the team. Nice that Raja realizes. Secondly dont rate peoples form by runs scored alone. Look at the scenarios they come into play.

Why compare players... when everyone knows the reason India won is because of collective team effort. Individual brilliance can win one match or two... but its the team effort which separates champion teams (similar to what Aussies and Windies were at one time in history).
In the country full of despair, corruption,and lawlessness, cricket serve as a way-out to overcome the frustration out like what a man wishes to do when he has hunger for s*x.
Like some make money out of p*rn, similarly some make money out of selling cricket to hysterically mad country of billions.
at least they (US/UK mad for football) come together to make their system run smoothly, however, we don't even think how our system is run. we behave with herd mentality wherein anyone comes and rule over us by either throwing carrot or showing cane.
They played well, bowled and fielded well under the strong leadership of Dhoni from which we could learn herd of sheep lead by lion will be victorious than the herd of lions lead by sheep.

sachin was great in all the games he played in this WC, his contribution was needed, and he delivered it through out the tournament except for the final.without questioning his integrity and commitment to the nation and game, i just want to throw light into his innings against pakistan in semi,i thought he just gave his wicket away deliberately , not looking to score a century on that day, was that bc's he doesnt want his 100th 100 not to be remembered as a gift from pak fielders. dont want to name it as an act of selfishness,but cant understand a batsmen of sachins calibre,having presented five life fell so close to century.

The difference between your euphoria and my euphoria is that i feel euphoria when dhoni scores under pressure. i feel euphoria because dhoni faces tough situations and comes out a winner. you feel euphoria when sachin scores big on flat batting tracks and you feel euphoria when sachin fails miserably whenever the going is tough...:)

Pseudo, sachin fans feel euphoria when mostly the match is won by our bowlers and sachin many times rides piggyback on contribution of our bowlers to pick MOM awards. you people feel euphoria when in crunch situations sachin the little bundle of nerves hides his tail between his legs and returns to the pavilion while fighters like gambhir, dravid, laxman, dhoni, yuvraj, raina etc. come out fighting. sachin more often than not flatters to deceive...i am sad that THIS is your idea of being euphoric..:)
if flat batting tracks scores of 100 and 200 is YOUR idea of getting euphoria, what can i say? such low ambitions...:)

Oh Baby, get well soon, one Innings once in a Blue moon and you are rejoicing this much, So we have been always happier since Sachin makes a Fifty plus every 4th Innings he plays while Dhoni needs 7, so a Frustrated poor soul can be happy like this ONLY Occasions and all other time the whole Rediff board sees you as a Cry Baby, By the way you are talking like Dhoni Son, don't you?
