Therefore, he has opened his kitty i.e pandora box to offer a slew of sweatmeats : i) 2nd April will be observed as National Holiday every year. ii) All Cricketers and other stakeholders who have raked up a lot of moolah will donate the entire amount to the poorest sections of society as philanthropy and will not waste wealth on his own as well as family members. iii) Each Corporate who advertised will lower their product prices to rein in Inflation by tomorrow morning. iv) All scamsters, scandal operators , corrupt busines houses will be brought to justice book and severly punished within 3 days. v) Real Journalism will prevail rather than paid service. vi) Govt ministers and officials will not work for the benefit of private cos and mere lip service on Corruption will not be shown. v) Core Sector Industries particularly Cement and Oil & Gas Industry will immdiately stop working as cartelisation and reduce the prices of their products by at least 50%. vi) Cold Drink Industry who advertise heavily on Ad Budget will not waste their money on Cricketers and sell their drinks @ Rs.1-3 per bottle which is its actual cost. vii)Cricket will be played as Sacred Game rather bookies game.No politicians will be directly or indirectly involved. Importanly, Kashmir or Pak Issue will not be raised again to misguide public to derive political mileage. Fake Border tension will not be created. Punishment to all Defence people who made money out of it for years including those from Adarsh Hosg . Religion/Castesim will not be an agenda for Poll plant. Political Party will not be backing any aggitation for Caste Reservation and blocking road,stopping train, burning effigy to cause problems for common mass.
This will be true victory symbol if Cricket Win is to be celebrated.

I agree.We Indians go overboard on everything.We are all happy that the Indian team won.But these cricketers are very very well paid and are doing their duty.Let us honour them suitably.But these announcements by state govts is shameful and not needed.The other countries do not act like us.Look at the plight of sportspersons of other games.They do not have even have kits.Let BCCI give money for other sports also.Our Govt also acts in a stupid manner.What was the necessity of give tax exemption of Rs 25 crores to a rich body like ICC? Sharad Pawar should be ashamed of himself.And these guys talk of poor people!
Lot of comments made by people are true. But some of the comments are simply nasty & over board. Those people who make these comments have not achieved the desired success. So it shows jealousy and their pettiness. All those persons are not interested in Cricket and hate the game, let them not see it.

Why do you want everything to be done for the "POOR"? You give subsidies, you give freebies you in turn make them addicted to these and make them beggers rather than providing any vital support. We should all be indebted to all those who have served this country in one form or the other . In fact, the Armed Forces , Para Military Forces, and even Government Servants certainly do public service and ultimately do not get anything much. The scientists of this country, what do they get. Why should everyone give so much to these Cricketers and Film stars. What have they done to improve the quality of life of our countrymen. Please , even if some awards are given to these Bat wielding , or Ball handling fellows, do not make it public, for it is really sounds so very bad , that the general public considers themselves as second class citizens.

Only no good scientists are in the govt. payroll. All the good ones got exported, including myelf. Overall the govt. pay was really a downer and that contributed to this situation. But personally to get a govt job i have to score 1.5 times what a OBC (or 3 times what an SC) candidate does in the competitive exams and so i looked elseware.
Pay here at GE, compared to HAL,for research fellows is brilliant( royalties for patents are a killer).
Do you know that you have to pay a bribe to get into the indian armed forces?.well it is true. Found out during my college days-1990s
But my feelings are quiet opposite of you. The BCCI is not liable for national wellfare, it is a profit based non governmental organization.
This is a country where corrupt politicians and drunk actors hold sway. There is no changing it. AND THE PEOPLE GET JUST WHAT THEY DESERVE!. so dont make a scene.

Congratulations for your success story and getting exported!!. Just because you got exported doesn't mean, all good scientists won't be there on Govt payroll. Times are changing and one day, you might realize that money is not everything in life and might want to return to india when you think, you've earned enough. MNC Working class of People in india and abroad have the same life styles. Plus, it's because of the same atmosphere that made you achieve so much, which you're cursing here. You think other countries don't have bribe?? Buddy, It's only people like you, who get exported and choose to live your entire life in an alien country because of money. People like you can make a difference.. But No, there's no changing it unless people like you accept doing so.. That's right. announcement in the public it matters to the countrymen. the 60% of the 1.21 bln country men are poor and they have nevers seen that much of money and due to greedyness the poor children will not concentrate the study and they will not listen even the poor parents. Indirectly I can say this award may drag the poor children to the worst in their life.
