dhoni is a gambler
by sherni on Apr 03, 2011 05:51 PM  | Hide replies

last over to nehra instead of harbachan- not clicked

yousuf pathan out- raina in- clicked

first batting in semi(wrong decision)- clicked as right

ashwin out in semi- nehra in- clicked

nehra injured- sreesanth in, not ashwin- not clicked

again bowled by tendulkar, virat- not success

a big criticism started against dhoni- at that time dhoni make the biggest gambling in cricket- he put himself 3rd down after virat instead of yuvi when he knew he was not getting runs but he was desperate because of criticism - huge success!

he made the runs when it was extremely required with coolness and calm! yuvi had put him two time at risk as yuvi was in anger due to his coming at 3rd down, thinking he might be out of man of the tounament chance!

but God has given yuvi also that chance to make some runs!

all criticism stopped! india won!!

IS HE A GAMBLER? NO, I WILL TELL, HE LISTEN TO HIS HEART!

bhaBHA dhoni, U HAVE GIVEN US A GREAT HAPPINESS!

LONG LIVE DHONI! JAI HO!

cricket has come up in the country on its laurels...
its is people like you who are bringing other sports down... instead of cribbing here.. have the guts to perform in those other sports...
also u hv a very bad attitude..
its like saying that in school class of 100, 99 kids suffer becoz 1 guy always comes first..
change ur attitude... just bashing cricket does not mean u are smart

The whole of Mumbai crowd had the expression on their faces as if the match was lost once Sachin was out. But I knew the chances only brightened and it was a sign of India's victory.

Dhoni is exceptionally talented
by Onlooker on Apr 03, 2011 04:53 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni has an amazing natual talent in spotting and hitting the ball like Javed Miandad. He also has the power to hit the ball at will. That is why he is so cool and confident generally in whatever position India is in. He think he can pull India out. The same confidence he instills in his team members. Dhoni's critics might like to downplay by saying he is lucky. But more than luck it is his skill and confidence that is contributing to India's win. On top of that he is so professional like someone from a developed country. Seniors are jealous of him because they place is at risk when they can't deliver. But what can they do? Dhoni delivers when most needed!

We are pround of you Dhoni!

We Surily are proud of dhoni. But it is not seniors in indian cricket team who are jealous of him. It is insecure people like you who are jealous. Don't know what guts you have got but don't even dare to speak anything about indian team as a whole. Come on stop barking and first do something for india. If you can't then dont' speak about some one who has done so much for India.

Mr. Rationalist
I have seen lot of idiots like you on rediff. Why are you all against Sachin? Most of you are pessimists who want to gain publicity by writing something against a person who has performed for the country. The most common thing people say is that he is playing for his own individual scores. Don’t these scores add up to the team total? On a pitch which was deteriorating against Pakistan he was the highest scorer at 85 when the second highest score was 53 from both the teams(Don’t talk about 4 lives, even Bradman has 99.96% with lot of lives) I am not saying we won because of Sachin. Cricket is played by 11 people. It is a team sport. Even Kapil dev's 175 would not be possible without Kirmani's 24 N.O. at the other end. It is not only the players but the Coach, Trainer, Physiotherapist and other support staff who are also responsible for the victory (Sachin was humble enough to thank them). Don’t write off Sachin's contribution because you want to gain cheap publicity. Let us be true Indians and applaud him for his efforts for over 21 years to the country. When all cricketing greats hail him as the greatest what credibility (except writing on rediff because it is free and anyone who has studied 2nd class can write) do you have to write against him. Mend your ways or somebody will hit you in life for this pessimism, from which you can’t recover nor anybody from your family can save you. Jai Hind and let G

Sachin never wants to come down the order. He wants only opening slot. He wants to play the maximum deliveries. He dominates his partner. He wants strike all the time. He does not want to take the risk by comming down the order. His attitude is like "if possible I will do. But I don't want the burden. But want all the records." And Indian media fools people that if Sachin gets out early India lost the match. But the truth is opposite most of the times except for minnows.

Without him scoring much the media is still focussed on him. Imagine he had scored a century or 80-90 runs. I would not be able to tolerate Sachin Bhajans by the media and some Bhaktas in other fields. God (if you are there), I am so lucky.

Dhoni is really blessed with lot of luck apart from his magical innings last night. Same Zaheer Khan, who had bowled so beautifully till then, had bled runs in the first over in 2003 against Australia. Apart from talent a captain needs luck also which Dhoni has in plenty.
