I am sure that Team India,,will win. But after The President of Sri Lanka visited, the hill Shrine of Lord Venkateswara for success of his country's team, I too prayed the Lord of the seven Hills for blessing Team India with success. He answered the prayers of thousands of Indians, as the team too played the game superbly.

Wierd.. I thought Sri Lankans were buddhists, who dont have concept of Gxd in their religion, but then everyone makes exception for Lord Venkateswara - even atheists and mxlims pray to him.

Thats because congzxss and comyoonists have successfully redefined Hizndu identity of all Indian people as ethno-linguistic identity.
When hzcindus in north east are under attack by bangladeshi illegals, they call it a asaamese problem.
When hinzcdus in kasmir are under attack by mxzlims, they say its a kashmiri pandit issue.
When hinzcdus in SriLanka are under attack by buddhist sinhalese, they say its a TAMIL issue not a hzcindu issue.
Due to this parochial regional identification, people of one part of India no longer identify with other.
Instead of a cricket world cup victory, if we were all already united under one big cultural umbrella called hzcindutva, such suffering of millions of hzcindus would've been prevented.

it is told thatDHARMA make us together but due to having invaders mughalsANDbritishers, we were divided, our relegeon has been divided! but now cricket is fulfilling this requirement of DHARMA! so, cricket has become our common relegeon other than our known one!
yesterday, hyndu , msulyms all were happy and there was no complain on each other! We kept a close watch in some msulym area where found them enjoying like us!
earlier, msulym used to support pakistan but i have seen, this time they(maximum) have not supported much pakistan in semi final!

this moment has come after so many years!
For some years, we had forgotten to laugh due to congress misrule and appeasement policy but now my msulym brothersANDsisters will teach congress a lesson in every state because they have also understood that congress has divided us ! they also do not want now appeasement!

future of indian cricket without tendu zaheer and yuvi gambhir will lead the way esp out the subcontinent on tough pitches. we need true class players like him. players like raina, dhoni kohli are helpless on good pitches.
Now that Indan Team has won the world cup, our honourable politicians will beging their part of the extravagance by announcing unheard amounts of public money and freebies for the Indian Team Players. Thankfully, our cricketers will be the richest sportsmen in the world with abundand wealth (poor tax paying fools money). Likewise, sports men from other unfortunate sports of the country will be sent to deeper oblivion. Jai Ho Indian Cricket.

moreover it all depends on what ppl of this country want. more viewership brings in more revenue if ppl dont wanna watch any other sport, noone can do anything.

You are wrong.It is market driven.Cricket is opium to divert attention from scams,corruption,price rise.Cricket suits lazy Indians.In other games you have to take pain ?
Well I just hope that we are able to keep the winnign stride like Australia did after wining theirs 8years back. And even srilanka was unstoppable after winning their WC. I should say it is possible with concentrated and committed effort. I think sehwag was just easing on the first few balls.but mallinga was on the spot
