We can replace Nehra with Praveen Kumar, as Srilanka replace Angelo Matthews with Chaminda Vaas, who is not in srilanka squad for world cup. Bcoz he is master of swing

Absolutely.... If not Pravin Kumar, how about adding an experienced swing bowler... Irfan Pathan??

Praveen still isn't fit enough . He is still undergoing rehabilitation at the Academy in Bangalore .

Absolutel. Why can we do what England did or Srilanka are doing? Shree is a bowler who gets hit badly in all ODIs.
Tharanga and Sangakkara are in good form and are left handed batsmen. Going with an extra off-spinner can help curb these two players. Left hand batsmen are susceptible to off spin.
Open with Ashwin the way India did against Australia; get Tharanga and Dilshan early.

Playing Aswin is the safer option. Playing Sreesanth if an attacking and risky move.

Ashwin can replace bhajji.. dont think lankans will collapse against spin.. unless we recall Kumble from retirement like they recalled vaas.
Sreesanth - yes and no. "yes" because of the following reasons - the SriLankans are great players of spin and the 2 pronged off-spin bowling attack of England was ineffective against them - Dillu has tendency to give away his wicket against fast pace. - Nehra and Munaf flourished by bowling a tight off-stump line against Pakis, and I dont see any reason why Sree cannot do it. - Playing 3 pacers is vital against Lanka. Bowling tight around off with light swing will get Dillu and immediately press their batting. - Raina Tendlya and Sehwag are good spinners and can support if required - The 4 bowlers(Zak, Bhaj, Munaf, Yuvi) are going great. The 3rd seamer as Dhoni says will be great!
"No" because - Aswin is a great bowler and none wants to keep him out of the team. - Playing him is a safer option compared to the inaccurate and mad Sreesanth.
All of this is very exciting indeed. Will it be Sree or Aswin - let us see!

Definitely it will be high scoring match...better add Pathan...Aswin can spin but not better striking rate like pathan in batting. Nos. of spinner in Team...so in final give the chance to Pathan..Aswin like player Srilankan play easily because there is no difference b/w Tamil n Srilanka rhythme bowler.Sure we have to go with PATHAN.

I Think We can replace nehra with Praveen Kumar as Srilanka replace Angelo Mattews with Chaminda Vaas who is not include in squad.
WE LUV U HAVE FAITH IN UR COURAGE ABILITY AND LUCK TO OVERCOME ANY ADVERSITY GOD BLESSU N TEAM INDIA give fitting rep to critic even if move is illogical.
If sreesanth is likely to replace nehra - a risky move - and pathan instead of kohli, the line up could be still quite formidable.
We can empathize with Dhoni and the management because its harder for India to plan the attack against Lankan batsmen as they've not been really tested till now in this tourney.
But we've luckily played a lot of cricket against them last year so we can plan based on Worst case scenario.
Based on prior info on strengths of Lankan batsmen against spin, it appears as if its a good idea to have 3 seamers play than both Ashwin and Bhajji.
I would rather pick Ashwin instead of Bhajji, as the latter is more familiar to Lankans.
On the other hand, Lankans have it easy coz they would've studied Wahab riaz' success against both Sehwag and Yuvraj with the inswinging yorker/low full toss and Malinga will definitely bowl similar inswinging deliveries to them, as much as possible. They'll also try to tempt Gambhir to charge down the track and get a stumping out of it.
Overall, it will be more fascinating to watch than the one-sided semifinal against a very inferior team.
