Kohli is not clicking. Pathan may be a replacement. he plays spin well. Only Malinga factor may haunt him.

You should be made indian captain immediately as you are having vast knowledge in cricket!
People argue Dhoni is a good leader and should be the captain of India even though he is not scoring lately.
If thats the case then may be we could make any IIM Graduate or for that matter Nandan Nilekani or Narayan Murthy as a Captain of Indian team. They have proved to be better leaders, if leading is the only criteria to become captain on India team.

r U seeing all the matches or blind? if there is no Dhoni, we shud not even think of qtr final! he is the inspiration to all cricketer! he respect everybody and getting the things done! not only he is keeping well but a good fielder, very good captain and medium rank batsman also!
he has the speed , motivation , personality, well behaved who has made india to hope again for world cup! dont forget his contribution!

I am not sure if you know cricket. Dhoni is a Wicketkeeper batsmen. So to replace Dhoni, you should have another wicketkeeper batsman who is better. I can not find any in Indian cricket now. (Don't tell PP or Dinesh Kartik or Saha is better). Also I am not sure, if you follow cricket. Guys has an average of 48 and as captain 51 . Current season he hasn't scored a lot, but if people like you make decissions then Sachin,Sehwag, Yuvaraj all would have benn our of the team and MMS,Nilekani and everyone would be playing. LOL

I have represented the district team and fortunately i also received a scholarship.So i do understand a bit about cricket.
Past performance doesnt matter, its quite competetive and we dont go by emotions. There are other players who are performing well. Just check the stats when was the last time Dhoni performed well for India.

Even Harbhajan was hammered by Afridi 666441 or 666421 I dont remember exactly in an over (not in this WC though).
IN this WC itself Zaheer has gone for 18 in an over so have other bowlers.
The problem with this guy Sree is he gets too worked up by the sense of ocassion. Now if Dhoni is including him, Dhoni shouldnt just hand him the new ball and make him bowl over number 1.
Either way one thing is sure...if he is made to play...he will either be the biggest hero or the biggest zero by the end of the day. Nothing in between.

One bad match, we forget everything. I am surprised, even in the rediff article, the tone is suggesting that Dhoni is making a mistake. Come-on he played for us in T20 final and has won matches for us. Ashwin is a spinner. So conditions should determine who plays Sreesant or Ashwin.
I vehemently believe on the discretion of Dhoni, which thus far going in right direction. He has proved himself as a lucky mascot for India on enumerable occasions. That is for sure there is a single vacancy in the team which may go either to Sreeshant or Ashwin.
shree sanath is South Indian and Srilankans are also have similar style of cast. I think Srisanth will be our best bowler tomorrow as he will peform emotionally tomorrow. Emotions can defeat tallent.

depth in batting ????? they showed how deep they are against NZ , didnt they. What u should be saying is the strength of the first 4 batsmen, that's it. After that, it's all downhill. Also, Mathews saved them in the semifinal and now he is not playing due to injury. so now they will get another bowler in his place coz... in srilanka they do not have another allrounder to replace him. In fact , due to dilshan , sangga, murali.... their team looks very strong. But there were reports that they may have to recall Vaas as they do not have another seam bowler. talk about depth in team and batting. Now, their tail starts at no 7. mathews was a batsman at no 7. but now their depth reduces by 1 point. india has to attack all the time like they did agains pakis. game is ours. Nadim.
Dhoni shouldn't include Sreesanth what ever the pressure is, if he did so ..... he is indirectly giving Sri Lanka a chance and at this juntion not a single indian prefer Sreesanth at any cost. From the above article Dhoni himself said that he cannot control Sreesanth so why he is taking RISK by including him on crucial match. From the below responses it is quite clear that ... no body wants him.

man.. i wud say lets drop dhoni for one match.. he has repeatedly in every single game he has played over last couple of years. wicket keeping is not a quality for being in team. u need to bat or bowl. he is not batting. remember, he was chosen in team coz he batted wonderfully in initial days. he has lost the form but doing wonderflyy well in TV ads. so lets give him a break to work full time with TV ads and in the mean while train some other keeper who is able to ba wel..
